    I would rather focus on the positive things and the good lucks, so here they are:

    • alhamdulillah I managed to return home unharmed, thanks to every single one in the convoy, I pray God bless you all for your kindness.
    • thanks to my trip marshal @Srikumar for leading the team during the incident. There were other younger blood he could direct & delegate to, but he chose to unroll his sleeves and in the process hit his head against my rear bumper (luckily it's stock fibre... imagine if it's the Y62 with 4mm steel 😱)  
    • it was good luck @Haitham Khattab pushed himself to join the drive eventhough he overslept and started driving at 5:30am. For his presence helped a lot, as we needed an Arabic speaker to translate and bridge the communication with the police.
    • i had a nice recovery driver who shared me his Naan & vegetables lunch
    • in short, eventhough it was an unfortunate incident, I am thankful and happy with the people who surrounded me & helped.

    Thanks for asking @Tom B @Rob S @ASAD. , not my first rollover with perfect landing on all 4 wheels, so the shocks were subdued a bit 😅, but nevertheless humbles and amazes me how we're given second..eh i mean... fourth chance. My wife reminded to watch the latest Puss in the Boots movie  😂

    And this is the finale good news: only Windshield (500dhs second-hand) + Front Right Fender (300dhs second-hand) + Front Right Passenger Door (300dhs second-hand) are badly damaged. According to the Denting Specialist, the roof can be fixed without replacing the whole roof. I'll probably start a thread on the LC 10K bring-to-life restoration project 😄

    @Zed sorry to hear about the unfortunate incident... Alhamdulillah you are safe and...  Hope to see youbsoon with you monster LC soon. 👍

    Yes, you heard it right, its going to be an EXPRESS ride ripping through Nazwa dunes.  Our exceptionally well equipped Fewbie plus Carnitian’s please be prepared to take an express train through famous Nazwa dunes.  The Nazwa is a place which never disappoint me at any level so you do not worry about the terrain.  Please come early with an open mind to Explore the Express.

    We request every member that joins this drive to go through the below information and strictly follow these guidelines, etiquettes and responsibilities.

    DRIVE DETAILS

    Level:  Fewbie Plus level and above

    When:  Saturday, 07 January 2023 morning  

    Meeting time:   07:30  (SHARP - Without any exceptions)

    Approximate finish time: 11:30 AM 

    Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance.

    What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

    Mandatory off-road gears: Tire deflator, tire pressure gauge, compressor, walkie-talkie radio, off-road flag, shovel, first-aid kit and fire extinguisher and rated elastic recovery rope and 2 soft shackles
     

    LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE

    • Limited to 10 cars only. RSVP will close on Friday, 2 pm.
    • If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, once anyone drops, you will be moved to the RSVP list.
    • RSVP will close a day prior to preparing a convoy list.
    • Latecomers will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
    • Members without RSVP will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
    • Please withdraw your RSVP, if you aren't joining, so your spot can be taken by others.

    I was stuck in similar situation in my last drive, and managed to get out thanks to the capabilities of the car :)

    But I realize afterwards that it would have been difficult to recover. I will keep in mind your step by step approach for the next one !

    keeping this thread Alive I put this from Sweihan drives V 

    I got wedged as you see in the picture below after shoveling the sand wall from behind the rear tires and right front and made it to be prepared for what comes next . I asked @Imteeaz to go back and forth from where he is supposed to recover me to prepare a track for him self . After that 4 ropes connected ( 50 meters ) and I was redirected . Comments are welcome always so we can always learn develop and improve
