    Im running  dobinson twin tube in my xterra. compared to stock bilstein suspension it is little bit hard on road.  but i like it rather than soft.  in sand it gave me good improvements.  very less bottom out from front suspension maybe due to increased ride height and absorb cross tracks better than stock.  overall im happy with performance. 

    i installed 2 inch spacer prior to suspension change, but i didn't like it at all,

    Before you go wide please double check how much clearance you have to your fenders.  Much wider tire will have rubbing issue. 

    for Xterra  275 fit perfectly without any rubbing, anything more will have to trim the fenders.

    in my offroad version i had stock bilstein shocks, i was happy with the performance no complaints, when it was time to replace i went for dobbinson stage 1 monotube shocks.  compared to bilstein its bit harder on road and it absorb the rough terrain much better than stock.
