I drive a 2015 Xterra with front recovery points and a skid plate installed. The tow points are fine and I have the equipment mentioned apart from the compressor. I will purchase that before the drive. Looking forward to the drive! Kindly introduce yourselves with the following information: 1) Which 4x4 are you bringing ? 2) Do you have any offroading experience ? If so please specify. 3) Are the vehicle's tow points on the front and the back in good condition ? For your first drive with us, you will only need a pressure gauge and a deflator, and a compressor to inflate your tyres (the petrol station in Qudra is defective). Do not hesitate to ask your questions on this drive topic. This will be my 2nd drive in the desert, I've had one drive with a different offroad club previously. 3. Yes, my tow points are in good condition. Is getting a compressor mandatory? Hi @Jasim Khumi looking forward meeting you and seeing your Pajero The compressor will be needed as we are exiting at the Al Qudra Last Exit gas station which has a compressor but it's been out of service since 4 weeks or more. A compressor for offroad use should have at least 45lpm (liter per minute) air displacement. Anything less you'll see your beard growing by the time all tyres are inflated and most-probably the unit will be smoking hot. * In the 100-150 dhs range you will only find a small compressor (cigarette plug type) which is just barely good enough to "top up" your tyres, but cannot handle inflating 4 tyres from 15 back to 35psi. Better to avoid them if you're planning on offroading every weekend. * From 200dhs onwards Dragon Mart has decent off-road compressors from the Camel Logo brand, either the big single piston model or the double piston model. Do not expect warranty though. * From 400dhs onwards you'll be looking at Bushranger, TJM, Mean Mother, which are dedicated compressor brands that are made for the job.
