Popular Post Wrangeld
Post Drive Report So let's face it. Today was one of those days when not everything goes to plan. I did not start out that way because for more than half the drive everything went spectacularly well - with everyone having great drives and opportunities to learn important skills that every off roader needs. @nivin and me had not had to get out a shovel or rope. Just a few words here or there and problems were solved. And then, in a moment, everything can change. As @Nivin calmy said "we have a situation here" I knew that we had a unique situation. There had been a roll over. As with any case where this happens everyon ran to help out. By the time I was at the vehicle, @AmithJeep was already out of the car, covered in sand, but apparently unscathed. In moments like this, people come way ahead of property and we are all delighted that he is OK. The car was upside down, and in a difficult position, so we exited @keyvan yasini @mikaeel shaik and @Karl Dela Cruz and waited for our colleagues to join so we could use the legendary Carnity teamwork to recover the stricken car. With the incredible input and assistance of @Asif Hussain @Srikumar and @Frederic we got the car upright, running and out of the desert. I joined Carnity for a lot of reasons. One of them was the way that everyone battles together. There may be an I in Carnity, but there's none in team and that's what we demonstrated again today. I am incredibly proud to be part of an organization that rallies together like this, without any hesitation to help out a member. And @AmithJeep kudos to you buddy. You got back in your battered car and drove yourself out of the desert today. There's a lot of people who would not have the heart to do that. See you soon in the sand. 2
Frederic
Well done @AmithJeep to keep a cool head throughout the incident and to drive it back out together with us. I am glad that you were in the hands of two of the most amazing senior members of our club that has handled this event perfectly and accepted our help that allowed us to combine forces. As @Wrangeld mentioned we always do our utmost best with the entire team to minimize damage and support where we can. I hope the shattered glass won’t mean shattered dreams of picking up this hobby again. This has been a learning process that many of our sooner or later have to go through. In your case today it was sooner but I have no doubt you’ll come back stronger. 2 2 1 "Go as far as you can see; once you get there, you'll be able to see further."
