sanjayl Posted June 2, 2012 Report Share Posted June 2, 2012 If you think its going low then it must be leaking your first concern should be fixing the leak and what you are asking if you should wait till it reaches low to top up then now you shouldn't but also dont ever over fill it too. Dollabill Posted June 11, 2012 Report Share Posted June 11, 2012 I like to make sure the oil level is about three quarters full when cold so that when it heats up it expands to nearly top level. It doesn't matter how frequently you add, unless it's obviously leaking, although Hondas will burn a bit of oil with hard use.
