khalidh
A leak can be caused by many things depending on where it is leaking. IF the head gasket leaks inside then it causes the coolant to burn in the cylinder head, which results in white smoke. So check if there is any coming out of the exhaust. Hope this helped. CelticNomad
What engine is it? If its the K Series, either the 2.5 or the 1.8 then being Pre 2003 it had less dowels in the block and they were a lot more prone to warping in the heat. If it has then your engine is goosed. No matter what you do you won't stop the leaks. Big G Tarmac is an optional extra, I forgot to add it! 2004 Discovery 'The Celtic Shamal'
nutbolt
Changing (swaping) engine is cheaper than rebuilding any day here.
CelticNomad
Agreed there as if it is the warped block you won't rebuild it anyway its scrap. Just had that happen to my V8 Disco in the UK Big G Tarmac is an optional extra, I forgot to add it! 2004 Discovery 'The Celtic Shamal'
