Recommended Posts

Admit it once in a while all of us come across this phrase after buying their cars, "I didnt know, my car can do that!" There are many features which pop up even after memorizing the whole freaking manual. And there are some features which with a few tweaks give a OMG  effect.

So share with us all your discoveries/tricks/tips and hidden treasures of your mean machines!

Here are few to begin with:

Range Rover P38 | '95-'02

Setting the 'one-touch' & 'anti-trap' functions:

If the battery has been disconnected, it will be necessary to reset the 'one-touch' and 'anti-trap' functions on each window, using the following procedure:

1. FULLY open and close each window in one continuous operation (note that as the window is closing, an audible warning sounds and 'WINDOW NOT SET' is displayed in the message center).

2. Once the window has been fully opened and closed, an audible warning sounds and 'WINDOW SET' (together with a window identifier message) is displayed in the message center. The 'one-touch' and 'anti-trap' functions will now be operational.

NOTE: The 'one-touch' up function is available on front windows only. Best done with engine running. Note when setting sun roof, start in closed position and run all the way up to the tilt position.
