  2. Dear friends @Waqas Parvez @Vaibhav @Reggie Landicho @Santoso Marjuki @Daniel Rodas @Alphin Aloor @Rsjiv Samuel @TT_Dubai it’s less than 24 hours before our intended drive and just can’t wait to share gliding it smoothly and safely with you guys. having said that please be ready , get steady before the final β€œGo like a pro β€œ probably you all drove in Qudra desert 🌡 and personally it’s one of my favorite areas. ; it offers a balance of everything to what we are up to . Basically after warming up my intention is to take it gradually in pace and difficulty in safe way practicing together at 2 to three long range dune areas side sloping , criss crossing and finally bit of ridge riding doable for all . We will cross some technical patches which connect these areas from north west to south east . Depending on the convoy response and time we either loop back to exit at last exit or continue bit more toward south Qudra exit point via the beautiful crescent lake. please be on time ( 07:00 ) at the meeting point which is at the beginning of the drive post , bit earlier the better . Communication and offroad flags are absolute safety prime so make sure that your radios are fully charged and programmed . Shovel , deflator and compressor as well please. during the drive and in any given moment communicate please clearly for whatever problem you may encounter ( refusal, stuck , front / back vehicle distance status .. etc ) recoveries what so ever will be dealt strictly by myself , @Tbone( second lead ) , @JeromeFJ ( Center Forward ) and @Hisham Masaad ( sweep ) For any query should you feel to clarify please feel free to mention it ahead and/or at the meeting point . for this drive we will be communicating at radio channel 2 ( 446031 ) Convoy numbering , here we go Good luck and enjoy

  3. Post Drive Report Lehbab is challenging for newbies, it requires a lot of focus and concentration throughout - there's little relief because the sand is so deceptively soft that even when you think you are safe, you are not. Our route today took us South Westward from Lehbab through the soft swooping dunes that take us to the large open sabkhas and through a difficult technical patch and over the high pressure gas line. From there we headed more or less directly toward Lisaili slaughter house. In between a failed car, some rope pulls, self recoveries and some wonderful scenery and driving. Massive thanks to @Alex Raptor, stalwart and superb support throughout, @Jeepie digging far too much for a passenger and @Adam James in the centre. Also, not forgetting a wonderful 2nd lead from @Imteeaz Goolamhossen @Sudhanva Sonawane you introduced yourself as having the least powerful car. I did not notice, you drove fantastically well. Enjoy the fewbie drives you'll undoubtedly be on shortly. @BHANU PRAKASH VISHWANATH nice to see how you handle the Pajero on a difficult drive and at the back of the convoy. @Dinesh Kumar A I like your confidence (in measures and at the right time) but please make sure you don't oversteer on descents @Marcin Wronowski another star in a reasonably priced car. Glad to see that having passengers did not distract you from a good drive without too many issues @Thomas Bushell great upgrades and great to see the immediate development in your driving second time out. MOre delighted than anything to see you really are hooked! @Muhammad Qasim Good drive today and well controlled. Please sort out the flag and the rembering to make sure you see the person behind you as well as the person in front. @Harshad Ashraf You handle the big beast well. Hope that the bumper is repairable. @Jose Thomas late to sign in and sadly first to sign out. Thanks for the confirmation that you were picked up and rescued. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

  6. @Islam Soliman Thank you for this morning drive in the beautiful dunes of Al Fayah. I enjoyed being out there with you and all the team. We covered quite a distance for a fewbie drive and given the terrain. The long range dunes were a very good opportunity to practice and learn to control your car, your fish tailing, taking advantage of momentum and exiting safely from the dunes. I do believe everyone did very well. We had a few refusals and stucks - that is definitely part of the game and part of the learning curve - again well done everyone, I hope you all got out of the drive with more experience Great support from @Josh T. and second lead from @Belal Aldaour See you soon guys !

  10. Thank you @Hisham Masaad and @Mehmet Volga and @Pacific for a very enjoyable drive today. Although we encountered a lot of soft sand, the whole team enjoyed sliding and twerking without any difficult situation except when we had a duel between @Daniel Rodas and a bush....that was an awesome effort from everyone and a 🐏 to move either Daniel or the bush......eventually the bush got trimmed. Thank you again for an amazing day πŸ™‚πŸ™‚

  13. Thoroughly enjoyed the drive today. It was thrilling to drive on the hard ridge of the dunes. On the descents with soft sand, felt what its like to surrender yourself to gravity. Amazing guidance by @Wrangeld - sure will make note and observe my descents. Thank you @Alex Raptor and @Jeepie for the support. Looking forward to the next drive.

  20. DRIVE RSVP IS NOW CLOSED @Zixuan Huang - Charlie@Fauzia Parveen @Serhat Yalcinkaya @Bruno Finel @Michel Van Woudenberg @Derius Olivier @Patrick van der Loo @Simon Claes@Imteeaz Goolamhossen@Gertjan @khurram.k @Simon Hope @Pieter Potgieter @jeetu sharma @kolin @Alfred Alinazar Please take note of the following things: Make sure to bring your Offroad gears: Deflator, Shovel, Pressure Gauge, Compressor, Walkie Talkie, and Offroad Flag. Without a programmed radio and Offroad Flag you won't be able to join the drive. Tune in to Channel 1: 446.00625 Mhz when you arrive at the meeting point. Please be on time, earlier is even better so you have ample time to deflate and put up the flag. Senior Supporting members on the drive are @Lawrence_Chehimiand @Dodi Syahdar. Whenever you are facing issues during the drive, please communicate this clearly over the radio and listen to their instructions. Faqa is a wonderful area, and combines nice open areas with very tight technical dunes. Make sure to always keep enough distance and keep your focus (and Walkie Talkie nearby). As the convoy is very long, proper communication will be even more important. See you all on Saturday morning !
