The LED ones you usually buy from places like dragonmart are maybe advertised as being 300Watts, but they are never that much (marketing) So lets do a quick calculation: -Imagine you have a 60Ah battery. This means it can last one hour for a load of 60 Amps. -A 300W led consumes about 24Amps (Amps = Power divided by Voltage) (300 / 12.6 = 23.8 Amps). So if the LED is consuming 23.8 Amps on a 60Ah battery you would be in theory good for about 160minutes. In reality, you will probably find that these LEDS only consume about 10 amps (many of them even have a provision to plug into the cigarette lighter socket, which has a 10A fuse). If that is the case you would be good for 5-6 hrs. As mentioned, it is indeed advisable to have an external battery, dedicated for your LED lights, but if the plan is to use it only for a couple of hours (and you have starter cables and a friend with another car that can jumpstart you in case needed), you can give it a try.4 points

I seriously want to test Josh and all behind him, as every time Josh drove with me he was at sweep. Not because of 6.2L but I needed his support. Let's see what fun awaits tomo, after all its FB+3 points

@Mark D since you have an F-150 and looking for the strongest one, your best option is base plate bolted to your dash + RAM ball + arm with either RAM X-grip or strong magnetic, see below photos: Base Plate from https://www.builtrightind.com/products/builtright-industries-dash-mount-2015-2020-ford-f-150-raptor-2017-f-250-f-3503 points

Drive report What a drive ! It was epic and absolute pleasure today with @Gregory , @Tareckand @munkybizness excellent driving . You all did more than super great not only the driving part which truly was impressive but everybody compliance with the safety and convoy rules which kept the drive nonstop except for two quick breaks we crossed along Lisaili across part of murqab all the way south practicing endless side sloping , ridge riding and criss crossing and yet technical sections especially the part before the pylon track which was super tight and not a single issue . Our shovels and ropes today left safe inside our truck while we had a moment of taking some pictures at the DCT start point for memory , felt different ✌️ The dark part was in Qudra on purpose ; a place that I better know it’s terrain . That was adrenaline pumping half an hour before we looped back on time reaching last Exit . throughout the drive everybody displayed solid safe driving , excellent communication and appropriate reaction time whenever I had to give some instructions to my second lead . thank you all for this amazing outing and till next time take care drive safe cheers Mohamed P.S few pictures and stat of the trip in Gallery below relive 👇3 points

Il Te' nel Deserto: between Qudra and Ganthoot - Drive Report "Live life as if everything is rigged in your favor" - Rumi A belated report, after a few days of work, business to take care of, and a couple more drives. It will be short and to the point, as many have already highlighted the extremely smooth nature of the drive. In spite of a variety of terrains, and a decent driving speed, it's been my first drive with NO refusals and NO stucks. Indeed, everything seemed to have been rigged in our favor. It covered 75.5 Km, in 3:23 total hours (2:54 moving), at an average moving speed of 26 Km/h, with the only breaks taken to stretch our legs, refresh ourselves, plus the last, glorious stop, when tea was served, accompanied by wild dates (for some more adventurous tasters), among a group of palms, lit up by the flames of the setting sun. One picture to describe this wonderful drive (see below), and many thanks going to the whole convoy: @Santoso Marjuki, @Matt.T, @Naim Aoun, @Thomas Varghese, @Rsjiv Samuel and @Alain Canivet-Abikhalil. See you soon in the sand.2 points

I've been delving deep into the forums over the past few weeks and just the astounding level of detail is mind-boggling. There's so much amazing insight, guidance and opinion here that I've truly learned so much than I ever had before. But one feature I've been looking for is the ability to save/bookmark/favorite a comment on the threads so I can come back to it later. I've been following the topic and reacting to them so they appear in my timeline as a way of leaving bread crumbs. But I'd like the ability to go directly to the comment on a topic that really stood out to me. Is there a way on the Carnity forums where we can favorite a post and commit it to our profiles so it can be visited again and again in the future? And while doing so, being able to add tags to the bookmark so I can tag it into categories. In the meantime, I'm just saving those pages the old school way as bookmarks on my browser in addition to following the topic but keen to see how the others are tackling this.1 point
