I was so pleased to see almost everyone at the meeting point ahead of time and ready to move as well as maintaining always the rules of desert and convoy order throughout the trip. Hat off gents 🙏 from the feedback lately regarding the terrain it was not to my surprise to expect the unexpected : pits , craters some of them are true bumper killers , sudden breaks of ridges, unexpected groves at places where we do not wish it to be...etc Murqab : this was the most challenging part zigzagging and rerouting frequently avoiding terrain issue as mentioned earlier which was passed amazingly and was so impressive. well done every one. at the end of it and with the first long sharp clean razor ridge ride my second lead got crested sideways which was dealt with promptly to end with it the chapter of Murqab. Faqa : we tasted the long range dunes drive and in this one where , in a moment of hesitation, I preferred to get crested side ways where if i didn't the stuck would be more nasty ( double pit ). in no time with the help of the great team i was out. continuing our drive enjoying side sloping more than ridge riding ending this chapter also with a nice "royal crest " upon straight up/down crossing . gentle tug from the second Lead and we were on our way racing the time for the next chapter which it turned to be the most exciting one. Solar park : I had a quick look at my map zooming looking for a shorter cut , however what the wind did recently was not updated , so back tracking the sabkha , before we dive deeply in the technical dunes which seems that this area just east to the chimney is untouched by a creature , taking the planned course crossing technical patches between islands of sabkhas till we found the way where legs can be stretched and engines open in a roar ( part from little sweihan ) 😅 this last one was the Blast at climax sustained no single issue if i recall. generally I found the Terrain in Solar Park the cleanest one among all. End Game : taking the dirt track all the way to finish point just facing the beautiful solar park tower. I have to say i am honored driving with such a bunch of amazing off roaders ,where for me each drive i lead or support its always an apportunity to learn something new. Thank you indeed! Last but not least i would like to thank @Ashok chaturvedifor being the perfect second lead as well as to @Rizwanm2 the man , when in any drive , you know you have your back supported as well as to @Pacific soothing the entire convoy whenever needed 😜 till we meet next time take care and be safe cheers

Dear Dr @M.Seidam thank you 😊 again for a lovely incredible outing, and yes you did cover around 100km, that I thought was impossible in the time given!! The trip was well planned and covered many diffirent terrains and it gave a taster of everythingand , and you did save the best blast to the end of the trip at mini Swaihan!!! Good morning fellow adventurers, The weather has taken a toll on the dunes, this area famed for its razor sharp ridges and smooth bowls will be scarred with the rains and high winds of the past week or so. There will be unexpected cracks in the ridge , hardened sands that cause you to slip when you don't expect it and some high walls on ridges. All the more fun for us as we try to blast our way through it!! Bring your A game! YALLLA!!! Apologies to those on the waitlist that I cannot accommodate however at IM level 12 is the absolute Max we can have in a convoy, if we add anymore it will dilute the drive experience. Oh my Faqa! You never disappoint! It had been such a long time since I had an Intermediate drive , let alone led one, and to say I was up for it is an understatement! I couldn’t wait to get out there today. We gathered on the Sabka and I wasted no time in getting into the dunes, up and over the tech stuff we went as I was salivating at the prospect of the wonderful Faqa ridges. Go fast or go home was the motto of the day as we annihilated Faqa, I don’t think there was a long-range dune we didn’t hit , we even found the infamous bowl, I do love that mad, looping little bowl of wonderfulness . It’s just so random, amongst those long-range dunes haha. We continued towards Solar and the area known to Carnity as Little Sweihan, oh what fun we had in there! We tore into every dune like a pack of marauding wolves as I searched for bigger and greater challenges , whilst maintaining a very good pace. It was great to be back out there with the you guys. Thank you so much for some excellent driving today Huge shout out to our more novice IM drivers @Zixuan Huang - Charlie and @Zed who were outstanding out there . Well done @Humayun Ghias and @Gok Krish who had flawless drives . @Ranjan Das had a very good drive. @Amir Amiri handled his truck with aplomb and @Ilya, it's always a pleasure to drive with you. Many thanks to @Arman for being a great second lead, I hope you managed to defrost. To @Looper for anchoring everything in the middle and to @Russ for sweeping up at the back. Great support as always guys Did I mention the pace? We covered 92km with 3hrs15mins of driving time BOOM! Even more impressive as we gently made our way out as I was fearful of my car going back into limp mode. Thanks again everyone for indulging me hee hee Until our next adventure 😎

Thanks @Ale Vallecchi for a lovely drive and congratulations all for completing your first drive with Carnity and for some their first drive in desert. Surviving Prof Ale's class without any tears (okay, we had few today 😂) is no less joke and those who do, can be identified with "Never fight gravity" tattooed on their minds forever ...😊😊 Overall today we drove around 52Km at an awesome average moving speed of 19.6Km/hr ... Kudos to you all for this brilliant feat, especially as @Ale Vallecchi ensured that the convoy got a taste of almost all key elements of desert driving - going up and down some nice dunes, handling soft patches on regular occasions, side sloping as well as a bit of ridge riding and criss crossing - the ultimate test of a desert driver. @Harshal awesome drive today your Tundra flattened all the dunes enroute, RTA can now easily extend the road to deep in desert. Very well done. @Yerem Davtyan you handled your beautiful Tahoe very well through the drive, despite all the challange that vehicle threw at you. Hope you manage to fix the 4X4 engagement issue as well your tyre soon, looking forward to see you in NB drives. @Riyaz Mohammed impeccable day at work today. @JDub nothing is better than seeing a free flowing top less Jeep 😊 enjoying the sunny Dubai's winter morning in middle of desert. Was nice catching up with you, looking forward to see you in NB drives soon. @Ravi Kumar As someone once said "There's no fun in offroading if you aren't humbled by mother nature" ....key is to learn from every drive about our own self and our vehicles. Your Prado has immense power under the hood and we all at @Carnity are looking forward to see you unearth this hidden power over upcoming drives. Don't be scared, there's always sand at the other side of the dune...😂👍 @Sreenath Giridharan brilliant drive. Your past experience was very much visible through the drive @Salvador Perez was nice sharing that throne on top of that beautiful dune with you 😊 @fayazc @Aghabi from Sweep position i had limited visibility of your vehicle, of course from sounds on radio it was clear you had no much trouble through the drive. @fayazc the self recovery you did from that ridge was undoubtly beautiful. Very nicely handled. Again thanks all for making the drive fun. It was a beautiful day in desert and meeting new faces is what motivates me to join AN drives regularly. Hopefully we catch up very soon again. For those who enjoy stats, some details below for your reference (ignore the stop time, as i stopped recording a bit late while we were already inflating) Thanks @Kailas though you couldn't make it for the drive, the background work done before the drive ensured we have all had fun, smooth drive.

Another excellent drive, with good company and stunning, crisp weather. What else could one want??? Ah, I know.... a long barbeque (possibly "joined" by the local wildlife) to finish off the drive with 🤣😂 I live in hope.... I’ve been waiting four weeks for @Gilbert Khalilto have a smile this big plastered on his face (in Dubai) and for him to say he “truly” loved the drive 😂🤔 Today, the radio crackled to life and I heard it, and I couldn’t agree more. Much like him, I can say with the utmost confidence, the rest of us too went home with smiles that big only to perhaps crash into our respective sacks. Firstly, @Islam Soliman, WELCOME BACK! What a grand re-appearance. And I know we’re going to be seeing a ton of new drives on the roster soon (especially your heavyweight LWB editions ;)) @Warren Flay, I almost always expect you to be SL on any drive I have with you, and it’s such a pleasure to have you in that seat. You set an excellent pace for the convoy. @Davie Chase, watching you in the rear view mirror today in your sweep role taking some of the lines you did, showed such wisdom and forced me to ask myself - “why didn’t I do that?” @imranaasghar81, thanks for flying the checkered flag. It’s a beautiful thing to chase down the middle. I am still seeing flashes of your air time 🚀 @Naim Aoun- what a splendid first FB+! @Daniel Rodas- I’ve never heard a Pajero sound this good. Mitsubishi needs to take notes. @Daniel Yang- my forever Y61 wingman. Thank you all in the front for giving us lovely churned up slopes to fishtail in @Fabien Monleau- following your beautiful car on a stunning track is the icing on the cake @Adhir Saxena- composed as always! @Islam Soliman the comments on the radio post drive said it all, however, it never hurts to say it again. that really was one of the best drives i have been on since joining Carnity. Not that the other drives have not been absolutely fantastic, but today, wow, superb. It had everything from challenging terrain which we were able to cover quickly, to fantastic scenery, to great support and most importantly fantastic company. Thank you for allowing me to sweep that was very brave of you lol. a couple of shout outs to a great second lead by@Warren Flay and CF by@imranaasghar81 you guys made the sweepers job easy. Moreover, it was a pleasure to follow such great offroaders as all of you guys @Daniel Yang @munkybizness @Adhir Saxena @Daniel Rodas @Naim Aoun @Gilbert Khalil @Fabien Monleau learnt a lot watching you all and you for sure made it even easier to sweep. Once again thank you all for a fantastic morning out and look forward to doing it all again next weekend. I have uploaded a couple of pics to the gallery.

As usual a very entertaining drive from @Shaaz Sha supported by the senior member @Mehmet Volga. Just before the drive @Tom B took the responsibility of Shaaz's 2nd lead as the more experienced driver who was earmarked as 2nd lead @Junaid120120 couldn't make it up for the drive. With just 11 drives under his belt before this drive @Tom B didn't refuse the big responsibility and rose upto the occasion. Excellent drive @Tom B and congratulations for being a good 2nd lead. I was expecting a leisure drive considering it a fewbie level but as usual @Shaaz Sha mixed his spices, salt, pepper and oil and made a beautiful drive on a weekend morning. I was wondering if the CF @Mehmet Volga will be too exhausted rescuing so many cars from refusals and stucks but the drivers in the convoy were amazing and upto the challenge and rarely had refusals or stucks and we all enjoyed the track. The landscape was beautiful. In between I got so mesmerized with the beauty of the sand I literally wanted to tell the convoy to leave me there. The dunes and sand looked so beautiful after the rains and winds last week. Thank you everybody for showing up on time and doing an excellent drive without wasting much time on refusals or stucks. In my opinion it was minimal considering what I was experiencing in my fewbie, newbie days. The new joined drivers have more skills than us old timers and it was a pleasure and honor to meet them, drive with them and knowing them. See you all soon on sand.

A historical drive indeed (at least for me ). Great terrain and excellent pace; I did not want it to end,, what a shame we had to go back to the real world. (Sorry I could not help much with the shoveling due to a right arm (shoulder, elbow and wrist) injury.. Hope to you all soon..

What a fantastic morning's drive! I am physically tired from sawing the wheel back and forth for 5 hours. @Islam Solimantook us on a technical, convoluted and ultimately challenging fewbie plus course and it was just so much fun. We had a heap of refusals, go-rounds and stucks but at the end of the day, we learn from every event don't we? I got to do my first tug job and enough shovelling to keep me happy for weeks. Thanks for giving the the responsibility of second lead, it was a thrill to be up front again boss. Big thanks to all the team on this drive, the spirit was excellent and the team work was faultless. BRAVO!

Thank you Dr @M.Seidam for the great planning and strategy for this epic drive that exposed us to a great sample of terrain, sand, dunes formation and challenges. Thoroughly enjoyed it. @Gaurav Again it was an amazing expedition and experience. perfect route selection specially for newbie drivers. got a refusal today and receivered within 4 mins. then face a situation with gear issue. with the help of Naser and @Gaurav Bhai the issue resolved.

I've pulled the plug on Prado. And now I'm on the hunt for skid plates and bumper adjustment (trim or replacement) Hope to fix those before I break spoilers off on the drive 🤔 Thanks everyone for help and support. I hope to see you on the drive soon. This is an awesome community!

Thanks a lot everyone for a great and smooth drive. We had good time to exercise the basic skills with good opportunity for different recovery techniques from shoveling to rope recovery including an excellent self recovery by @Juan Carlos Prego Perez. Overall and despite of the extra long convoy we managed to exceed 35KM in around 3hrs which is a great testimony of how well you all did as Newbies. Thanks a lot @Emanuelfor an excellent 2nd lead and @Adam James for sweeping and ensuring we all moved in unity and no one left behind. Special thanks to @JeromeFJ for outstanding support through the drive Looking forward for having the opportunity to drive with all of you again.
