  1. Drive report. Please look above πŸ‘†πŸ½. Thank you @Ahmad Nerat for posting the drive report, making it easy for me. Amazing company. You guys made the drive, with less issues, you allowed me to keep moving. At first bowl, and as usual we for FB level drives, and to keep it safe, we make it one by one. This will allow to watch and evaluate performance of each one. Happy to see all made it without any comment. This was encouraging to relax to move forward with more confidence. At first large bowl was somehow worried to allow every one to make it, but when I saw all are asking and confident they can make it, i thought yes, they should, and πŸ‘πŸΌ πŸ‘πŸΌ πŸ‘πŸΌ πŸ‘πŸΌ all were perfect. Thank you @Mohamad Anwer @Glenn W @Bashar Beasha @Mark Gladiator @Vaibhav @Albarqawi85 @Adam James @Stumpy Paj @Tareq Al Turq for making the drive fun and successful. Well done, and look forward to see you again in sand. Nice week end, and week ahead.

  2. Trip Report When I had set the limitation for this drive I wasn’t wrong at all. And today my friends it was just worth every km we drove to reach the meeting point which was about 230 to 250km from our homes. leaving ahead of time so early thinking about how our day is going to be. It turned out a super amazing day with super brave and like minded off-roaders . By the time I reached Al Wagan it was already sun rise what a refreshing breeze after a rainy night I took a quick scout to the entry to the sand before the arrival of the team which they were punctual on time. a quick brief about our trip plan and a reminder to the safety points that we always repeat in any drive and at any level .Do Not Fight the Nature , just let it flow and we did safely all of us. it’s not possible to cover Al wagan in one or in 10 days . However our plan was of three main locations. we started with the star fish dunes at this area. So to get the feel we Broke to it gradually to find ourself in front of the giant fish. We spent quite a time negotiating climbing sliding crossing back and forth. It seems we got to the mood of the nature of these dunes. Surprisingly The sand was super soft despite the heavy wet night the day before ! leaving this area back to the track to get to the giant Squid πŸ¦‘ the octopus dune which was even more demanding and we managed to escape the octagonal limbs but this time not to the track but across the technical/flat/ technical straight away to the last epic and famous pagero bowl . The Pajero Bowl that was the most challenging part to tackle . Its huge uneven vagitated solid base crater precluded any chance to use it for an infinity like fashion climb like in the death bowl of Sweihan. We had a quick chat and plan . I first climbed and managed three quarter a circle to exit the best thought point. I was pretty fast and when I let the momentum to do the rest it was stronger and my left rare slipped . Now there is no way to go back for another round . I knew what I had to do and luckily I managed to control an iminant double fishtail and near misshapen !πŸ˜… once steady I grabbed the radio and reassured my friends that all is ok and not to start till I guide them one by one . All has to come higher than my line even a foot is enough so they can ride the ridge longer .All did it like in the awesome videos what @Zedshared earlier πŸ™πŸ‘. What a great feeling of accomplishment and relief in the same time . here down are some what I could get from above After a break we headed toward the exit and on our way as usual I managed to get a wedged stuck where with some shovelling thanks also to Zed’s sand tracks which worked to catch a traction and helped me to get away πŸ™. @Ranjan Das perfect second lead and pleasure to see you with your awesome Rubicon after a long time . @Imteeaz bro you drove like a pro today. And the Pajero bowl is a testament well done . @MMansoor honestly I had little doubt at the beginning not of your skills but the heavy beast . But you made her yours now after this trip I bet on it by 10 bucks 🀣. Excellent drive . @Zed thanks for the amazing sweep , control and help . Man your voice freaked me out more than the actual moment when I crossed the Pajero bowl 🀣, really pleasure having you in any drive bro 🫑 till we meet again take care and drive safe cheers Seidam

  3. Quick Trip Report & Video Uploads of the 4 Amigos conquering Pajero Bowl πŸ‘ Almost everyone got a refusal, starting with second lead Mr @Ranjan Das who is still getting used to his newly-rebuilt engine and stuck on the side of a soft dune. No issue, with proper instructions from Marshal and cool-head, the Jeep managed to self-recover from a sticky situation. Being at the back, I had some options to skip certain things πŸ˜‚ and while waiting for @MMansoor to finish his climb & u-turn loop, I realized it's been more than 5 mins, and when I looked back, the mighty Y62 was stuck on the high side of the dune. You can check the Photo Gallery to assess the situation yourself πŸ˜…. I think this happened in the Octopus Bowl. @Imteeaz had a minor refusal going over the crest, but managed to reverse and go over the churned-up crest. Finally we arrived at the marshal... whoops I meant Pajero Bowl 😜 For this, you can see the videos below. Dr. Seidam conquering Pajero Bowl. Ranjan conquering Pajero Bowl. Imteeaz conquering Pajero Bowl. MMansoor conquering Pajero Bowl. Thank you Dr. @M.Seidam for pushing the drive even with just 4 people. It was well worth it πŸ‘

  6. Sweihan in winters is special along with @Srikumarleading it. Thanks a lot for the wonderful drive. 1hour 30 mins drive from home to meeting point you made it all worthwhile. Off-roading is full of surprised and @Gaurav Soniloves to surprise. Thank you for your 2nd lead. You were equally responsible to make the drive smooth. @Zulfikhar Naiyar followed proper lines and instructions from @Gaurav Soni. Followed by Limited edition Pajeros @LKP and @Ishakwho drove really well and acknowledged the instructions exceptionally. After the Pajeros we had 2 Bronco's of @babaskiand @Marco B.who handled their horses really well. @Jerry Han Nice driving . @Benjamin @Juan Rhandled the wranglers really well. @Nikola Bozovicdrove the FJ well without any issues. @Alphin Aloorfirst drive with your car i am sure you will love it with more drives in future. @Mus_hus78 with that monster your drove so well, Such a pleasure to the engine roar. @Andrew McCarthygreat driving mate. @Vanessa8580 i am sure you enjoyed the most. 8. My first off-road drive of 2023 started rather funny, with me getting stuck in an area with construction sand, nicely wedged inbetween two dunes. Thanks to @Fabien Monleau and a bit of shoveling, we could re-direct the car, and resume the drive within 20mins. The first part in Remah in an area named after the Racetrack dunes, were super virgin and we had a blast with endless loops and climbs. Everyone drove magnificent but as we kept looping in the same area, my initial plan to make it to Nahel was getting impossible. Eventually we crossed Sweihan road and had our fill in the fantastic dunes of Sweihan who were quite scarred with muddy crosstracks. I think we all had the opportunity to wake up our cars after their Christmas sleep, and we covered a good distance. When @VipinShetty announced he felt a bit queazy, it was the time to exit anyways so we took the dirt track to the Sweihan entry point. @Salim Akhtar you drove brilliant as second lead. Keep it up ! @VipinShetty i know the Grand Cherokee is a tricky car to drive, but you mastered it like a pro ! @Karthikeyan Govindarajan your experience shows on this drive, taking perfect lines and using the massive torque of your 4x4 @Daniel Rodas you are mastering the Pajero and the terrain wonderfully, great to see you drive like that ! @Jona I really love the FJ cruiser, and you take it through the terrain very skillfully ! well done ! @Dodi Syahdar as usual, in full control of the massive power, and with a big smile surfing through the dunes ! @Amr Aydin usually somewhere to be found in second lead, but this time all the way at the back Well done !! @Fabien Monleauyour presence is always re-assuring, and your eagerness to help is perfect for a sweep ! Thanks so much. Wishing you all a nice cloudy remainder of the weekend ! See you all soon !

  15. We broke a Guinness Record, with @Fredericgetting stacked in a sharp pocket, at the desert entrance. As always, I was glad, not to be the first one 🀣 After a quick recovery, @Fredericled us beautifully and smoothly from Remah to Sweihan. Winter light was beautiful. After the rains, sand quickly became slippery mud, transforming the desert into rainforest soil. At the end of the convoy, @Amr Aydinand myself had to always search for fresh sand. Everybody drove perfectly with minor refusals. Thank you very much and have a nice week. Looking for driving with you next week end again…

  16. Thank you everybody for the drive! It actually appeared to be more fun and less dangerous than it seemed on youtube I felt kinda ashamed when had to deflate tires to proper values while everybody else was working hard on shoveling my car, but it was not my idea! Yesterday I was testing the car on mountain trails and it felt fantastic, and today it proved to me that it can be capable in the desert also. Actually, she could and wanted to go faster, I felt it When I got stuck I pressed a button to disconnect stabilizer, and get a bunch of messages that everything broke (ESP, stabilizer, parking sensors etc), "drive modes not available", "service required", luckily I could still switch to 4LO and engage lockers. After 10 minutes it fixed itself. While I'm not happy to see such bugs at car that run 1000km from the factory, I'm totally fine if all future breaks will look like that Does anybody have some photos or videos to share by the way?

  23. Trip Report: Thanks @Hisham Masaad, for the great drive. Indeed Fewbie drives are different. and now im looking forward for next level . At start point, i have meet fellas who started the off-roading with me 2 months ago, @Frans M, @Bashar Beasha, @Sebb, @Glenn W... @Hisham Masaad briefed us on the drive and emphases on a very important statement, Don't Fight the Gravity.. safety is first just steer down and you could try it again... Simple words but have all the magic.. after then we moved to our first side-sloping were we did half-moons near the ridge.. and yes we made all nicely. thanks to Hisham guidance, my confidence start to rise more and more we start to do it faster and continuously... Now we moved for riding small ridges were i still need to practice it more because my boat 😁 sometimes make difficult on me but it was achievable with Hisham comments on the radio and as i was watching @Glenn W car moving on front of me. @Bashar Beasha was driving greatly on those dunes with his supper safari.. On Criss -Crossing, the bushes decided not to leave him alone without a tire pop-out. which handled on no-time with support team help @Tareq Al Turq, and @Vaibhav @Mohamad Anwer was driving the legendary LC70 as second lead, he took very nice photos of his car near a big stone i dont know what they call it .. i did a nice clip for him check video . and now we reached big bowl. were @Hisham Masaad asks the intermediates to do it because its a bit challenging, meanwhile i was praying that he we would asks the Fewbies to do it. YES he did !! immediately i catch the Radio to ask his permission to do it.. after then all fewbies did it greatly.. Finally we headed to climb a large dune, we took a warrior rest and then headed to the exit successfully. Thanks for all drivers, Looking forward for another drive with all of you. I would like also to conclude by thanking @Frederic for his amazing post on Gaia GPS app on carnity site; which i ended by downloading it and subscribing for it. Also, i would like to thank @M.Seidam for his you-tube channel where i got inspired to create the my 1st activity video. chk short trip video here https://vt.tiktok.com/ZS8rnsSc1/

  26. @Rizwanm2 thank you for a great drive this morning, really enjoyed it despite my 3 pop outs!! Lesson learned for me is that I can’t run the same tyre pressure in the winter as I did in the summer. The penny has finally dropped but I’m sorry to you all that it delayed everyone today. @Haitham Khattab @Patrick van der Loo @Jona @Naim Aoun @Charbel @Ashutosh Garg a bit embarrassing for me, thanks for sticking with me, hope the delays didn’t spoil your drive. Take care, see u all soon!

  35. Hello all, I couldn't introduce myself last month when I joined, due to various factors. My name is Tharun Kumar V! I am originally from Bengaluru, India, but lived in several different countries and I am now based in Dubai, working with UD Trucks as Resident Eng. for MEENA. As a Resident Eng., my job is to help UD Truck's dealers and customer a reliable truck and of course to help them out whenever they’re in need of technical solution. Last June I moved to Dubai with my wife Ankitha and my daughter Shrestha. Ankitha was an interior designer and currently she is handling our naughty Shrestha who is just 16months old. Things keeps me calm are cars, bikes and trucks. Back in India I’m a member of Fiat 1100 Bangalore club. I do own a small fleet of cars and bikes starting from Fiat Select – 1959, Premier Padmini 1100 – 1992, Mercedes Benz W124 – 1992, Mahindra Scorpio – 2006, Toyota Qualis – 2001, Yezdi Road King – 1991, Bajaj Chetak – 1987 and Royal Enfield – 2010. I am a DIY person and would like to keep myself busy with my passions. Once I moved into Dubai, got my license in 21 days and picked a Mitsubishi Pajero sport from one of the marshals from another club, who is a friend of mine from India. How did I get to know Carnity???? This is an interesting topic for me. After a week of purchase of Mitsubishi Pajero sport, I had to go to meet the previous owner of the car in Sharjah to collect few parts. Surprisingly my car gear inhibitor failed, and I had to drive the car to a garage in Sharjah (this car was maintained in the same workshop by the previous owner). As I was waiting for the new inhibitor in the waiting lounge, I see a person and started to have a conversation about his Pajero and off roading. Apparently his Pajero had a starter motor failure, and he was waiting for a long time to secure the part. After a long discussion about off road and Carnity, I was so eager and I asked him, β€œif it is ok can I join Sunday morning drive?” and he happily asked me to join. So, my first drive as a passenger in Carnity was done on 7th August 2022. The person who introduced me to Carnity is @Gaurav Soni I was just waiting for my family to get adjusted to Dubai and then signed in to Carnity. Thanks a lot for the opportunity and with my one-month experience, I have started to discover many good things in Carnity. Carnity is not only a community, but it also feels like a family. Carnity not only teaches off-roading and its skill, but it also even improves our personal developments. Hope I have not bored everyone with my stories and introduction. I would like to meet every one in person during the drive. See you soon guys in the desert Thank you Regards Tharun Kumar V

  36. My advice is not to go for the lower lip in the first place if you intend to go close to sand or sandy patch or beach. It will be cracked or broken even on roadside sand if it's a little deep. Been there, done that. I have broken my LC lower lip on the very first entry to sand dunes before I could hit the first dune.
