Thank you all for joining the drive. All made it almost on time, and got ready for a quick brief. Immediately started our adventure climbing dunes next to the meeting point, and moved through Techincal area to reach the next group of amazing dunes, to start again climbing, till we had the first and only situation, where @Ranjan Das car decided not to continue, and stopped. Waited for sometime trying to run the car, but failed. Decision made then to pull the car out, and could not refuse the offer of @Karthik Raptor to handle this challenge, and was really successful. Big thanks to Karthik for a big and appreciated valuable help. Another big thanks and appreciation for our marshal @Islam Solimanfor joint the drive and the support and guidance through out the drive and pulling out the car. @Imteeaz amazing SL, specially first time in this area, and second IM drive. You did very well, and encouraged me to push the level. Thank you all for offering the support and guidance to get out safely. At the end all left the drive with a smile, best wishes, promises and hopes to meet again. Well done @Sunil Mathew @Simon Dawood @MMansoor @ASAD. @Vaibhav @Mohamad Anwer and @Waqas Parvez. Wish you a nice weekend, and good week ahead.
Regards

While I do indeed prefer lower level drives as for me I need something « slow » on the weekend to relax after a grueling work week, I have to admit that this kind of drive somewhat relaxed me as well. Of course i was sitting on the edge of my seat, but you really have 0 time to think of anything else than revving your ride and trying to follow that mean green XJ machine 😅
Brilliant driving by all of you, and i was glad to see the camaraderie amongst all of you; cheering each other on and having each other’s back. That’s what I love seeing in these kinds of drives !
Towards the end of the drive it was getting extremely hot, and after inflating i quickly got on the road, feeling overheated and lightheaded. Sorry for not staying back for a chat as I usually do.
Really looking forward to more of this the coming winter..
See you all in the sand soon !!
@Srikumarplease prepare for one. Next time will have to join you in sha Allah

Great drive as usual Hisham. @Ranjan Das your instructions to get the car from that ditch were impressive; I never thought he will come out without being winched out or on all 4 wheels Unfortunately no one had a camera handy to document how tilted that car was.. Good job.
See you next time.
Yes, forgot to mention. Thank you very much @Ranjan Dasfor the support on that incident. By the time I reached it was already sorted out. Much appreciated.

Great job everyone, new fb+ and old ones. Thank you for joining, and special thanks to drivers from Abu Dhabi. Started almost on time, with little delay due to foggy weather. The plan was as mentioned earlier to start with big red and finish by faya, crossing pink rock and Sweidan area. Unfortunately, with the news received that both are surrounded with fences, plan changed. We spent some time warming up on big red dunes, and then the actual fun transferred to badayer. Amazing performance by everyone, with few refusal, one stuck and one pop out. Thank you very much @Ranjan Dasfor supporting us, @Ashutosh Garg for the powerful and full adherence SL and @Sunil Mathewfor sweeping us, till the loss of the flag of Ranjan Das. Wish you @Salim Akhtar @Ignacio Quindós @Sam K @Haitham Khattab @Naim Aoun @Tareq Al Turq @Imran Kashif @Senthil Kumar @takeshi sobue nice week end, and look forward to see you again in sand. Below summary of the drive.

@Hisham Masaad thank you for a very thrilling drive and thank you for giving me the opportunity to be SL. I was so excited that I made the rookie mistake of driving off in 2H! Causing me to immediately get stuck. Luckily we had @Ranjan Das on hand to give me a quick tug. Thank you! And while the able support of @JeromeFJ was right at the other end of the convoy, it is always a pleasure to share a drive with you. And thanks to @Brette for the advise when I had some refusals. Always good to have a marshal present.
Fellow dune bashers @Haitham Khattab @Salim Akhtar @Jose Thomas @Tareq Al Turq @Imran Kashif please find some Gladiator POV videos at the link below:That was really amazing @Gerrit Bus, was really worth to wait for seconds for you to change battery and fix the camera 😂, next time you can take more time to fix. Thank you very much for recording almost the whole drive with the special events in between. Well done 👏🏼👏🏼

Drive plan
Most of the time we enter the desert, keep moving in the same area, and exit from the same. This time the plan is different. Planning to enter from the big red side, move to the pink rock, cross the road to the sweidan area. Cross sweidan to reach faya, to have some fun. However, depend on how we perform, things might change, accordingly.

Thank you @Haitham Khattab @JeromeFJ and @Ranjan Das for the posts. It was really amazing drive. Having great group of friends, actually made the drive more nice and fun. Glad to see everyone made it through till the end, without much of issues. Few refusals, where you were ready @Ranjan Das with your rope, really thankful for that. Otherwise, we kept moving, pushing pushing till we had a break in between, to have more power for the second half, which again was challenging, but all again managed, and was good fun. Thought at that stage, we are good to go and exit. @Gerrit Bus you have really managed your position very well. Amazing SL, and very good capable driver. Amazing support team @Ranjan Das @JeromeFJ and @Brette thank you for being available whenever required. Great job everyone @Haitham Khattab @Salim Akhtar @Jose Thomas @Tareq Al Turq @Imran Kashif @takeshi sobue, no comments, except good to meet you, and well done👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼.

Wish you nice week ahead.
