I saw one of these landrovers with a proper Dubai plate today. It had race derived seats, alloy wheels and probably super charged as it was mentioned on the body. Paint looked very new but leveling of the metal before painting looked shabby job. On the bonnet it carried a Defender logo

That was recovered much easily than this. 2 reasons. 1 @Shaaz Sha knew exactly where to shovel and clear the sand bank. 2. We both knew what will be the exact speed and maneuver to bring the car safely down. 

I am thankful to @Wrangeld to teach me the blip blip method and @Chaitanya D to be patient shovelling in the hot sun. I didn't understand the significance of that tutorial at that time but looking back it was the finest lesson I have learned to self recover. 

1 time tutorial from @Gaurav and immediately @Shaaz Sha picked it up. Well done for recovering the car from such difficult angles. I have seen similar ones thrice more than this - 1 recovered by @Wrangeld. 2 recovered by @Gaurav & 3 recovered by @Srikumar. 

Whoever witnessed this kindly understand you were watching one of the finest recoveries and a trick used always by the veterans in the off road community. 

Proud of you @Shaaz Sha that you could coordinate this in a  Fewbie drive and pull it off without any damage.  I can make out @MMansoor's car and @Vaibhav's car.

@Abdelghani Masad I wanted to capture this view but your dad was driving like a man possessed through this area. Reminded me of the fog at the Western Ghats back home in Kerala

Couldn't agree more @Vaibhav. It was really a scary ordeal. Thanks to all of you and the trip lead @Shaaz Sha I could come out unhurt and unscathed. God protected me and all of us.

@Vaibhav you are correct. Being the sweep in the convoy I believe its my duty to park my car where I can watch everyone and watch out for lone wolfs or pack of wolfs hurling out of the blue with no regard for others safety.
