desertdude
Lancia Integrale. Stopped making it because it's a Lancia and breaks down every 500mtrs Edited November 16, 2018 by desertdude
desertdude
Believe it or not Ive had a chance to buy this ans many other cars which now demand a high price at dirt cheap throw away prices. When the whole jap import scene just started and the Afghanis and Khans had no idea what they were bringing in. If only I knew all this cars would go up in value not so long after. A particular one I remember was a 1984 Mercedes 540 SEC coupe, guy was asking 7k would have sold for 5k . Nice clean low kms fresh import. Then of end of line soft dash RRC for 5k which I skipped too.
Jeh
Did some search and found out this car is available on duzle for 290k LANCIA DELTA HF INTEGRALE EVOLUZIONE 2 (1993) in Monza Red with Alcantara Beige interior trim This Japanese EVO II has covered less than 62,000 km from new and comes complete with a full service history. Japanese maintenance records are from 1994, 1995, 1999, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015 and now 2017 through to September 2018 under the current ownership. The production date as verified by the Lancia Classiche Certificate of Origin which will be supplied with the car is 22nd November 1993. Upon acquiring the car in May 2017, engine gaskets were replaced as part of a full inspection and service, a new battery with cut-off switch was fitted and both the turbo and air conditioning systems were serviced and essential components replaced. (Air conditioning upgraded to run on R134a refrigerant) Four new Michelin Pilot tyres were also fitted on the newly refurbished 16” Speedline alloys and full wheel balancing/alignment was carried out. At the same time, brand new top of the line BC Racing inverted adjustable coilovers were fitted to replace the stock suspension. The original suspension components were retained and will be supplied with the car. In February 2018 the manual transmission fluid was changed, fuel pump wiring upgraded and a full diagnostics health check was done. Preventative maintenance has just been completed in September 2018 (61,400km) and included the fitment of a new timing belt (previously done at 59,171km), balance belt, all auxiliary belts, water pump, all associated tensioners and bearings as well as a full A/C recharge. The interior is in immaculate condition and is totally original except for the OEM MOMO gear knob. The Recaro high back driver’s seat bolster shows only minimal scuffing and is protected by a full seat cover. Beyond this, the interior trim presents almost as new with the exception of a small wear patch on the passenger footwell carpet. The rear parcel shelf is pristine with no unsightly cut outs or drill holes. All lights, gauges, central locking and other electrics work perfectly, even the retractable electric aerial for the radio is fully operational. The engine starts and idles without hesitation and accelerates cleanly. Clutch action is smooth and gearbox operation precise. This Delta’s turbo boosts exactly as it should, running the standard factory boost settings of 0.9-1.0 Bar. During operation there are no odd mechanical noises and no fluid leaks present. Bodywork is in fantastic original condition, no accidents, no panels replaced and no corrosion present anywhere. Full body protection and micro detailing, including the engine bay and interior was carried out by D31 in November 2017 at a cost of AED 8000/-. The original Lancia etched glass is retained throughout the car and all seals and rubbers are in excellent shape. Supplied with genuine wallet, handbooks, tool kit and spare wheel including the original four keys as well as the OEM SONY XR-5G51 OEM radio cassette player. Nothing short of fastidious maintenance has been carried out to ensure that this is one of the best presented and well maintained Deltas out there. It’s permanently stored and covered in a basement garage and will be supplied with a premium tailored “Lancia” protective cloth cover. Non-standard equipment includes: New BC Racing RM inverted adjustable coilovers (as mentioned, the original suspension components are available and can easily be re-fitted by the new owner if required) New Turbosmart Blow off Valve New H&R hub centric wheel spacers New ITG performance air filter OEM Presto Rally Racing stainless steel silencer/muffler OEM Abarth Rear strut brace

No nothing funny, Italian cars specially the Lancia are like this, need regular expensive maintenance. I knee someone who hap to scrap a perfectly good older manual transmission Alfa Romeo because the clutchplate was worth more than the value of the car itself. So he said screw it and scrapped it. Probably changed on age rather than mileage. If I had a car that age I’d be changing the belts and gaskets too or you’ll be forever chasing your tail fixing things one by one. I know of a few Integrales in Dubai. Most of them are stashed away in garages or in bits. It was rust that killed most of them in Europe. A few people cherished them and kept them garages and good ones command a premium now. The daddy of all deltas, the group b s4 The new Delta is a horrible turd,
