I came to know it from the garage only after scanning and it’s confirmed, the pipes and connections all are well and no issues at all 1
shajikmc
Hi This happened in Mitsubishi Pejro 2014 while driving the differential light blinks. I found the complaint in the sensor which is cominging in the engine room on right-hand side top which is fixed in body. After changing it the vehicle got perfect. After around 100000 kms drive the vehicle differential get locked while on 2H . The tech is telling to change that sensor once again or it may be the complaint on the differential shaft which is not engages in right possible. Can any body give the reply

Can any body give the reply Hi @shajikmc in the engine room bay it is not a sensor, but the vacuum solenoids that are located nearby your air filter box. Ideally when driving a Pajero, you should engage your 4H at least once a week, this ensures the system is not seizing up. Probably if you are not offroading and you kept it in 2H for 100000kms the system is stuck. There are three possibilities: 1. The vacuum solenoids, like your mechanic mentions. These don't cost more than 250dhs and can be replaced in 10mins. 2. the vacuum piston underneath the vehicle that engages the differential shaft. This is the one that can seize up when you are not using it for long time. (water/corrosion)... 3. one of the sensors on the differential itself (less likely). 1 "Go as far as you can see; once you get there, you'll be able to see further."
