Wrangeld
This is a relatively specialist drive, for Fewbies that want the chance to focus on the skill set of driving through challenging small dunes and soft sand. This drive will head for and through those areas that we often avoid because there is a worry that we will get stuck and spend more time digging or pulling than driving. So I am not for one moment going to pretend this will be less challenging. You will need to be highly focused and preapred to use finesse and technique - powering your way through these dunes will not work. Often, the dunes will be so tight and small that it's not posible to get more than one car there, or if you make a mistake, you'll find yourself stuck with nowhere to go. It's also why the numbers on the drive will be lower than ususal. We simply cannot take a 15 car convoy through some of these areas because the sand gets churned and impossible to navigate. What you will learn on this drive are new techniques for self recovery and you'll challegne yourself to remain calm and collected when things go wrong - because they will. But that's the while fun of this type of drive. Our objective, by the end of the drive is for everyone to feel more confident driving in the technical stuff. This drive is organized in full compliance with the COVID19 guidelines. We expect every member that joins this drive to go through below information and and strictly follow these guidelines in order not to jeopardize someone's health, and to ensure we can keep organizing these drives safely. MUST READ AND TOTALLY AGREE: COVID19 Precautions MUST READ AND TOTALLY AGREE: BAN POST Two Way Radio Guidelines Every Off-roader brings his own radio, programmed to the frequencies described in below advice topic. We will not share spare radios or program your radio on the drive. If you need assistance in programming the radio, post a topic on the Carnity website with your questions and we will help you out. Make sure your radio is fully charged. It will be your only way of communication while driving. Before buying, please carefully read below advice so you are informed properly on which model / cost / shops... No radio = No drive. It is an essential tool and you should make sure you bring it on every drive and learn/practice how to use it.
