DRIVE DETAILS

When:  17 June 2023, Saturday

Meeting time:  5:00 AM - Sharp (Without any exceptions)

Approximate finish time: 09:00 AM

Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance.

What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Mandatory off-road gears: Tire deflator, tire pressure gauge, compressor, walkie-talkie radio, off-road flag, shovel, first-aid kit and fire extinguisher.

 

LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE

• This drive is limited to 12 cars only.
• If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, once anyone drops, you will be moved to the RSVP list.
• RSVP will close a day prior to preparing a convoy list.
• Latecomers will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
• Members without RSVP will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
• Please withdraw your RSVP, if you aren't joining, so your spot can be taken by others.
• Repeated no-show members after RSVP will have their account suspended for a month.

• Do you have any prior off-road experience? If yes, pls share details - Just one single drive last year with some friends
• Confirm your vehicle has front and rear tow hooks/eyelets - 2 front and 2 rear tow eyelets confirmed.
• Advise if you don’t have a programable radio and safety flag - I have a programable radio but doesn't have the flag.

Hi @DTG.. thanks for the info… Flags are mandatory safety equipment for any off-road drive… you can check out the suction cup ones in Dragon mart to begin with! 
Driving without a Flag is an absolute NO..

Hello @DTG, You can get flags with suction mount in the "BE" section of dragon mart for less than 100 aed.

Mandatory gears required for this drive are

1. Shovel

2. Radio - Programmed and charged

3. Off road flag and pole

4. Compressor

5. Deflator

No Gears = No Drive

Front and Rear tow hooks should be  present

12 PSI for AT tyres

Starting at 5 am, temperature is cool. We have a Newbie convoy. It is so nice to support all new Comers, to shift from a Junior to Senior positions and to realize all the acquired experiences, after so many refusals, stacked, pop out or other mechanical issues…

Thanks to @GauravSoniand @Looperfor leading us this morning and sharing their expertises, taking nice lines without never putting our Newbies into danger… Just enough for them to learn…

Thanks to a great @Hisham Masaadin his support role…

All our Newbies drove smoothly. I really hope to drive with all of you again, in higher groups…
