@Hisham Masaad, this was my first drive under your lead and was far better than my expectation - it was fast, fluid and thrilling. Thank you for curating such an excellent Drive. Please find the final plan and convoy list for tomorrow's EPIC Grand Iftar Drive. We will be having 4 convoys and the core objective of all convoys is to reach Iftar Bowl as soon as possible to secure an area where we can accommodate 50+ cars in any square or rectangle formation. Once all 4 convoys are there, then anyone (Fewbie and above) is free to play at the Iftar bowl by informing their respective trip leads. While arriving at the meeting point, look for your trip lead car and park behind his car/convoy and start deflating to 14 PSI for HT tires and 12 PSI for Off-road tires. Few important things to adhere to: Everyone in your car needs to wear a seatbelt, including kids and babies. After reaching the Iftar bowl, adhere to trip lead and support team guidance over walkie-talkie radio to park your car, precisely. While parking your car keep 1 car gap in between (not too far and not too tight) depending on how much space is available for us. After parking you can place your mats or chair and tables in front of your cars and join the setting with the neighboring car as per the below tentative plan. Bring food and drinks for yourself and a little bit extra to share, not too much. If you plan to leave your parking then make sure to leave a chair or mat in your parking spot to secure it. Be gentle (no sand splashing) and respectful (no eating and drinking in the open) to everyone around. The whole area will be too crowded and filled with cross-tracks, so if you stay in one place and use this time to interact with other off-roaders will be nice and highly recommended. Exit Planning 7:30 PM - M.Seidam (+971 55 4045278) will leave first and use channel 8 - 446.181'25 so if anyone wants to leave early, please inform him in advance, so that he can plan his convoy. 8:00 PM - Asif Hussain (+971 50 6990411) will leave second and use channel 7 - 446.156'25. Rest all 4 convoys will leave at 8:30 PM and will use the same respective channels. Srikumar will replace Asif Hussain and will lead the convoy 2 out using the same frequency assigned below. Shaaz will replace M.Seidam and will lead the convoy 3 out using the same frequency assigned below. @Frederic @topgear @fayez @Ajay Kakkar @Amit Mathu @Elsinno @Shanky Ochani @Shama Zamora @James Lovell @Sita Sharma @Beide Worku Convoy 1 - Radio Channel 6 - 446.131'25 Frederic - Green Isuzu Trooper topgear - FJ Cruiser fayez - Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Grey Ajay Kakkar - Pajero LWB Grey Amit Mathu - Nissan Patrol 4 Door White Elsinno - Ford raptor Gaurav - Pajero SWB Silver 99 Shanky Ochani - Pajero SWB Black Shama Zamora - Jeep Wrangler SWB Red James Lovell - Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Silver Sita Sharma - Jeep Wrangler SWB Yellow Beide Worku - Ford F150 Blue @Asif Hussain @Salim Akhtar @Savio Fernandes @Mohammed Yazir Thattarathil @Amr Paple @Abed M @Srikumar @pramod @Ashutosh Garg @Sunny84 @Quresh Pajero @Ahmad Shaker Convoy 2 - Radio Channel 7 - 446.156'25 Asif Hussain - White Nissan Xterra Salim Akhtar - 2017 Pajero Savio Fernandes - Nissan Patrol Y62 Mohammed Yazir Thattarathil - SWB Pajero Amr Paple - White Xterra Abed M - Red Jeep Cherokee XJ Srikumar - Green Jeep Cherokee XJ pramod - White Land Cruiser Ashutosh Garg - Silver Xterra Sunny84 - Grey Pajero Quresh Pajero - White Pajero Ahmad Shaker - Grey & White FJC @M.Seidam @Abdul Basit Khan @BHANU PRAKASH VISHWANATH @paolo dassi @Vishal Nair @Tom V @Shaaz Sha @Amr Aydin @Krishna R @Mahmoud Taha @Harshal @Danish Mohammad Convoy 3 - Radio Channel 8 - 446.181'25 M.Seidam - White Nissan Xterra with Black Star Abdul Basit Khan - Blue Xterra BHANU PRAKASH VISHWANATH - Pajero paolo dassi - Pajero Vishal Nair - Pajero Tom V - Xterra Shaaz Sha - Xterra Fauzia - Pajero Amr Aydin - Green Wrangler Krishna R - Infiniti QX56 Mahmoud Taha - White Xterra Harshal - Green Tundra Danish Mohammad - White SWB Pajero @Hisham Masaad @Mohamad Anwer @Felix Obst @AlexM @Thomas Varghese @ASAD. @imranaasghar81 @Rizwanm2 Convoy 4 - Radio Channel 9 - 446.206'25 Hisham Masaad - Black FJ Cruiser Mohamad Anwer - Beige LC70 Felix Obst - White Wrangler AlexM - Green Rubicon Thomas Varghese - White Xterra ASAD. - White Prado imranaasghar81 - White FJC Rizwanm2 - White Xterra8 points

Thank you @Islam Soliman, for sharing the drive with me today and supporting my first shared lead. It was an amazing experience to have the dunes wide open in front of me, and to draw a line for the convoy ! And a big thank you to all the Leads, Marshall’s, and Support who guided me up to this point. The area was offering various configurations, technical portions, high dunes, wide open portions with some bushes, a few trees for a break in the shade, some camels and gazelles. Very few existing tracks, no other convoy in sight, perfect conditions for exploring. After a few stucks at the beginning, (including a twisted Silverado !) and a pop out rapidly sorted, the convoy was performing really well even if some of the crests were challenging for the long trucks. We had a few deep bowls, nice ridges to ride, a few steep descends, and remote sand valleys to discover. On the way back, finding a way against the tall slip faces was challenging but all drivers were focused, avoiding to get stuck in the soft sand, and we reached the sabkha and the tarmac road without issue. Great support from @Rob S from the middle of the convoy helping in the recoveries with very clear guidance, and perfect sweep from @Imteeaz, who had the additional challenge to pass in the tracks of 3 heavy trucks. @Islam Soliman @RiaanJH @DP1011 @Pieter Potgieter @Patrick van der Loo @Rob S @Awais Zuberi @Nathan @Mark D @Imteeaz, thank you a great team spirit, and for joining that drive that was very special for me. See you soon for the next ones ! @Rob S your battery was kind enough to wait for the exit to die, perfect example of the British politeness! I hope it was sorted out without too much troubles.7 points

Congratulations @JeromeFJ for your first partial lead.. it’s a very special and dear moment to me too to see you taking off and leading, I don’t know how many drives we had together since you started but they are a lot.. I am only sad that this new step will not allow us to drive together often as we used to in the past but I will for sure every now and then jump on your drives to to enjoy being part of your convoy. thanks @Rob S for supporting this special drive and for the amazing support not only in the center but man you were everywhere as usual .. great job Mr. Support; and thanks for your car battery too for being sooooo patient to stay with us until the tarmac before giving its last breath.. glad to hear it was an easy straightforward battery replacement with no further complications. Thanks @Imteeazfor sweeping today and putting up with the destroyed tracks by the Truckers at the back. @Nathan and @Mark D special thanks to you guys for the great spirit and teamwork staying with us and @Rob S until the car was out to the gas station and all passengers comfortably relaxing in the shade and thanks for the mighty Rebel for the tow @RiaanJH @Pieter Potgieter @DP1011 @Amr Aydin @Patrick van der Loo @Awais Zuberi thank you all guys for a wonderful drive and great teaming through the drive.. you all did amazing across all the challenges specially those of you marking their first F drive.. very well done Can’t wait to the next opportunity to drive with you again.6 points

Thank you for all the nice feed back, and great meeting you today. Yes we had good drive, despite terrain challenges and formation created after strong wind storm. Lots of sharp crests, sharp drops, bulldozer tracks and many small pockets. However, we all managed to enjoy the drive, all met challenges, the speed and all climbs. Well done everyone. In terms of achievements, I was honestly expecting much more, but as I said due to the changes happened, it was challenging. But still in 2 hours moving time, we made about 60 km. Below is the screen shots of the drive report. Thank you and pleasure meeting you again @Waqas Parvez as SL and @Ranjan Das as SW. It has been long since we last met Ranjan. Amazing drivers was happy to see again and really well done @Vaibhav @Davie Chase @Daniel Yang @Chris Wing @MMansoor @Humayun Ghias @Amir Amiri . Managed to have few photos will be in the gallery. Wish you nice weekend ahead. Take care please Hisham6 points

@Hisham Masaad thank you for the fantastic drive today. It had everything, fast, exciting, excellent dunes to play on, superb climbs and steep declines. cant think of a better way to spend a Saturday morning. However, with all good things come with the not so good lol, so my baby Red Rubicon is at the doctors, having a new bumper put on as we amputated the original one during the drive, (it had already had a bash or two so we just finished what we had started). A big thank you to @Chris Wing for carrying it in your car for the entire drive until i could make space for it. Should have her back up and running on Monday, however, the noise coming from the front differential might take a bit longer the joys of off roading :):) we have the technology to fix her up as good as new for the next adventure (hopefully next weekend) in the sand pit cant wait as today was a blast. Thanks to the team for waiting whilst we severed the remaining tendons that was still holding the bumper on so i could continue the drive. @Waqas Parvez thanks for your support as SL and @Ranjan Das thanks for the excellent support as SW. @Vaibhav @Daniel Yang @Humayun Ghias @Amir Amiri @MMansoor you guys as always drove superbly. What a great team today which made the experience even more enjoyable you were all fantastic and great company.. Pics of the severed bumper in the gallery lol6 points

Today was the day that 100% confirmed that I picked the right group in joing Carnity. Good and clear briefing as ever from @Islam Soliman. Gym work out shoveling done early on, then into a nice rythem following the tracks setout by @JeromeFJ . Driven with you a few times now and fantastic to be in the convoy for your first shared lead. A calming voice on the radio, clear instructions and great tracks chosen. I don't often take passengers but today I had 2, so of all the days to break down today was not it. Huge thankyou to @Islam Soliman @JeromeFJ @Imteeaz @Awais Zuberi @Patrick van der Loo @Mark D for the team spirit, staying with us till we got to the main road. Thanks to @Nathan for the very humble American tow and taking my passengers back home safely! The Toyota Prado is already fixed and we look forward to seeing you all in the desert again soon!3 points
