@Chirag S. nothing will happen if they open the bonnet and spray the engine bay. Years ago some cars used to have a problem starting if water was sprayed in the engine bay with high pressure as water used to get into places it should not but with current cars it is not a problem.
I pressure wash the engine bay on my Grand Cherokee every alternate week and have been doing this to my cars for the last 10 years at least. If you do have access to an air blower, use that to blow out the excess water after the wash or ask the service center to do it if you are getting the car washed out.
Besides it being a good habit to keep the engine bay clean, it also helps you detect any new leaks that need your attention.

I like the stripped look after she dropped her skirt (bumpers)of in Al Faqa..😅
Seriously, the comfort, power and sleek looks.

Also is it safe to drive to fossil rock sharjah alone(one car with spouse & 2 kids).
Driving off road alone is the worst thing to do. Never do that even if you have all the experience in the world. With kids it is an even bigger no.

thanks man, think of getting a pathfinder
wish you the best
Yeah the fear of damaging the GC has been making me lose my path lately. 😁
On the lookout for a pathfinder now.

Comfort and features will be more in Jeep than Japanese. @Brette has similar JGC can advise on the fuel economy for road usage.
@J JOSE I have the 2017 JGC and the average FE is between 8.4 to 8.9 in city. On long drives I get over 10.5 kmpl.
If I were you I'd weigh my options and preferences carefully as this would be a long term investment. Since you only want a vehicle to use to office and back with no intentions to use it offroad and particular about the FE, why are you looking at a 4x4? You rather invest in a good sedan with all the features that you need and it may work out cheaper overall and give you a way better FE.
Back to the JGC, I have driven it almost 40k km in a year and have had absolutely no issues in terms of road usage or stability but if you do ever have issues, it is going to be more expensive to fix compared to your other options.
As a person who loves cars, I'd say don't only go with FE unless you are really driving a lot as in time you will regret it and will always have that voice inside you saying ' I should have gone with what I really wanted'. Speaking from experience here. 😥

A roll of duct tape can also be very useful. Don't have it yet but will add it this week.

I have it linked to my credit card from Emirates NBD. When the balance drops below AED 20, it automatically tops up for another AED 50.
If you do run out of currency on your salik, you will get an SMS the next time you pass a toll gate and have 48 hours to top up before you are fined. This happenned to me once before I set it up with the bank.

@Gaurav run your nail over it and check if it is on the paint or if it has gone through the clear coat. If it feels like it is on the paint it can be removed with detailing clay. If it has gone through the clear coat but not very deep, wet sanding with 3000 grit sand paper will get off and then with a little elbow grease and some polish you can get it back to normal.

Good topic @eduardo.
One more thing that I do before driving away is to lift the wipers and get out the sand that collects on them. If you need to use the wiper on your drive back, you don't want the sand there scratching your windshield.

WOW.. Thanks @Gaurav, @Rahimdad, @Emmanuel for all the support and encouragement at the drives and the endless amount of effort you'll put into every drive.
Still remember my first drive with Carnity, it did not feel like I was meeting all of you for the first time and by the end of the drive I said to myself, this is not a offroad community or club it's an offroad family and that has kept me coming back for the drives.
Looking forward to the fewbie drives now. Thanks again.
