    @Zed U planning to camp with @Jaro Tuzinsky ? ;)

    my car's not yet equipped with overlanding gear, so I planned to sleep in Adnoc that has 24/7 security and no scorpions... or crash into @Mus_hus78 's warehouse 😂  Adnoc preferable cos i get hungry and food is just outside 😁

    I had the same plan :)

    Actually I plan to end with @Looper's drive to make it a hat-trick drive 😂

    I also bought the 4 way hose that is sold here but stopped using it after 3-4 times. Don't get me wrong, quality and built is great and it's high quality in my opinion. I just find it too cumbersome to set everything up and then roll it up neatly again. It's a nice idea but I ended up not really saving time and found it to be more hassle than benefit.

    @Patrick The CTIS Central Tyre Inflation System is always connected to the wheel/rim hubs and perfect for those who don't want to get down to deflate, similar to G Wagon that can deflate & inflate back with a button inside the car. What's best is you can set it to constantly aim 10 psi and the system will deflate/re-inflate accordingly during your hot summer drives 😁 Pic below:

    I thought it would be fun project to build two sets, has anyone here built their own hose set? Got any tips on where to go for parts ?

    I hope recommending spare parts shop is not as strict as recommending garages 😅 so here goes:

    - Royal Pipes Trading LLC in BMW Road Sharjah, either buy flexible ones or PVC Blue that can handle 7 bar or the extreme braided ones that can handle 12 bar.

    - Wika 150 psi Digital Gauge from neighboring hardware shops along W Road

    Oops sorry to hear that buddy, keep us posted on the root cause. We can all learn from it.

    Hi @Frederic after visiting 3 garages and some prayers, noise eliminated. Happy to inform you'll have your Sweeper this morning 😄

    Occam's Razor: replaced 2 tires since both rear tires were suspect (see photo below). The Transfer Case Motor issue I posted on Instagram is also solved by cycling the shift lever to TC Neutral (disconnect front & rear diff electronically), engine off 5mins, then to 4Low, drive a bit, engine off 5mins, then back to 4H.

    Thanks to all the support team and @Zed for pulling me out from that embarassing cresting incident (I think I was the only one who required a tug during the whole drive?).

    Hi @AlexM there's no embarrassment in getting stuck or crested, sometimes it just happens (usually for people at the back as the people in front left sand churned up 😁 ).  Next time, let's position you behind my car, and you'd see sometimes I moved a bit to the left or to the right, just to get fresh sand & traction. To be fair, @Richard Franks was also in similar predicament as yours and I positioned my car ready to tug him, but @Rob S thought us cool trick with the A-Trac system of FJ 👍 . Don't worry though,  some Jeep folks said we have the same thing called Brake-Lock-Differential that uses ABS for preventing wheels spinning and redirect power to the wheels with traction. Please refer to below screenshots & links I share.

    @Frederic it seems the Hill Descent button on Jeep acts like a center diff lock, we should try this next time a Jeeper is stuck 😄

    @Frederic - As much as I am looking forward to this one, I have recently upgraded on tyres ( from 255 to 285) for mine, warranting Calibration to be done ( Never knew about this hole to pocket! ) , I was told by Showroom guys, without calibration, the warranty gets void, and apparently they receive code/software, which is still not received - hopefully its done by Satday latest.

    Can the experts here throw some light / confirm for my academic knowledge - how risky or safe is it to drive without calibration done ? ( I already feel the RPM going high even on-road drive, in automode, and am hence driving in M mode !) Just being extra cautious to not to go for FB+ Drive without calibration done !

    Hello fellow Jeeper (yay I get to say this now), when you upsize to bigger/wider tires, the speedometer is  not accurate anymore and the transmission shifts is no longer optimum (it was optimized for stock size tires 255). Bring a measuring tape and $20 (for adding new VIN license) and with the magic of OBD + JScan app we can calibrate the TCM so the speedometer & shift timings are calibrated to new tire height 😁

    OR you can remain as is, the automatic shifting will be a bit late (high RPM as you said), but since you'll be driving manual, you sir are the Computer and you control the shifting 😊
