Gaurav
I'm planning to get my beloved Pajero fresh lick of paint and looking for your experience and feedback on which is the best car repaint workshop in UAE? Looking for full body same color car repaint with the good number of years in warranty against fading / flaking. I am not looking for insurance level of job that cracks up the paint in 6 months time. Any good or bad feedback is helpful to steer clear from incompetent workshops. Thanks. Let's root for each other & watch each other grow.
Rahimdad
I know someone at Technical Service Center in Al Awir, same company as you find in Barsha, if interested give me a call and I will hook you up with the guy. I am impressed with their facility and you may inspect them before you hand your precious to them.

ameen
Please define your best car repaint definition: Extra shine or wet look? Chip resistance and hard to wear off overtime? Fade or heat resistance esp from bonnet and roof due to extreme sunny condition?
Gaurav
Sorry ameen for late reply, I want all of these points to consider the best (if possible). Let's root for each other & watch each other grow.
Danny
Very difficult to get all three points in one paint, you have to source some special paint protection coating after the Repaint for saving from chipping and fast fading, my 6 years old car look 30 year old now. adil
Go with 3M scotchguard for ultimate paint protection, it's bit expensive but worth every penny.
Amar
Hi Ameen, What will be the price for painting(Fade or heat resistance esp from bonnet and roof due to extreme sunny condition) . After doing this I can do the paint protection right to make it shine or wet look. Rgds, Amar
Gaurav
Finally I got my Pajero repaint done with refernce of Rahimdad from Sharjah. It's a small shop but they did an excellent finish. Me and Rahim has scouted couple of paint specialist in Dubai but both of them failed to show what exactly paint quality and work sample of their work. Technical Garage quoted 5500 dhs and will required 30 working days. Bespoke guys quoted 7000 and will need 15 days for full paint job. Both claimed to use Standox paint (German / EU quality). Went to Sharjah reference and guy seem to be very confident and showed me one ongoing Altima repainting process, which really impressed me and one of my more experienced friend. We knocked the deal for 2200 dhs for Standox and Octoral and car will be done 7-8 days. I will post the final car pictures soon, as again dropped today for minor correction issue on the window trim. 1 Let's root for each other & watch each other grow.
