Gaurav
I hope you all enjoyed a beautiful morning out in the dunes and learned a lot about how to handle your 4x4 in the sand. Everyone has driven great and showed a great amount of patience and teamwork while helping others. @George Joubran you have driven nice with the great responsibility of second lead clearly displaying your previous off-road experience and sensible approach throughout. Well done. @Zubair you've managed your Y62 very nicely in dunes and even in a technical stretch without a glitch. Remember to point straight down your car nose while coming down - that's the safest way in dunes. @Mostafa Elbadawi your manual Y61 is the most famous offroader for locals and once you master the manual gearing in the sand which is totally different than on tarmac, you will eventually enjoy your ride even more. @george charbel Seems you've already mastered your manual wrangler and that's why I didn't hear or see you struggle yesterday during the whole drive. Keep it up. @Ignacio Quindos You've managed your green beast very well too being last in the line adds more difficulty with churned-up sand, but you have crossed those with very good control and a good mix of skills and gas at the right place. @Melenany thank you so much for your valuable support like always and help explaining new off-roaders the right way to enjoy off-roading with safety first. You can post your pictures in the below drive gallery: https://carnity.com/gallery/category/1287-absolute-newbie-al-qudra-dubai-13-mar-2022 Moving forward you all will be joining the Newbie drives and not an Absolute Newbie drive anymore. Drives are announced every Monday at 11 am, and they go live on Monday evening at 7 pm. Due to the high demand, these drives get full in about 10 minutes, so please be online at 7 pm to book your spot. If you miss a spot, put your name on the waitlist asap. Generally, by Thursday with dropouts, everyone does get a spot if they have been waitlisted. For the next drives, please bring along a deflator, pressure gauge, flag, compressor and radio as a MANDATORY requirement. Learn to deflate your tires and check them precisely. Learn to fix a flag on your car. Learn to program and fully charge your radio.
