@Islam Solimanwas great to drive with you again, and good to go on a IM Drive. The route was certainly a challenging one and full o . However good work from @JeromeFJ at sweep and @Humayun Ghias as 2nd lead plus a great remaining convoy there were fee problems and good teamwork to deal with the few we did have. @Pacific @Looper @Amir Amiri@Ranjan Das @Ashok chaturvedi so altogether most enjoyable. What an amazing drive! Thank you @Islam Soliman @JeromeFJand the rest of the convoy. I liked the convoy order as it allowed me to be the second lead, this was only my second time doing that. Being at the back usually doesn't give you many chances to practice tugs, can you imagine I did a tug for the first time today eventhough this was my ninth intermediate drive. Therefore, I particularly enjoyed this drive.

Thanks @Islam Soliman for the drive. It was a unique experiment to have big heavy vehicles in the front and puny ones towards the back. We were virtually gliding in the churned up sand in back, but a great experience nevertheless. Never ever did I was worried about pop out for so many times did I today. But it was a miracle that there were only two in the convoy. a big thanks to @Humayun Ghias, @Amir Amiri, @Pacific, @Matt.T, @Ranjan Das, @Ashok chaturvedi and finally the newly minted advisor @JeromeFJ for participating in an intense but fun drive.

Thank you @Islam Soliman for the drive this morning. Beautiful itinerary and quite a distance with challenging sand conditions. This mix of soft surface and solid bottom part of the dunes made it very sliding on the side slopes, and unforgiving on the crests. @Humayun Ghias was an excellent complement to your lead, rerouting and supporting when needed. @Amir Amiri was following precisely, manoeuvring the long Ram in the technical parts with dexterity. and behind…. Honestly, it was a bit messy 😅, the Jeeps struggling to control their fishtailing and the FJs doing barely better (it costed me a pop out ), and cutting the lines to limit the sliding. … and tomorrow I will support an Absolute Newbie drive and tell them « no fish tailing, steer down ! » 🙈 thanks to the skills of the drivers, all this was still executed safety and we have all enjoyed the drive ! @Pacific @Looper @Matt.T @Ranjan Das @Ashok chaturvedi, it was a pleasure to meet again and drive together. enjoy the rest of the weekend !

@Hisham Masaad once again thank you for the absolute blast this morning, was amazing scenery, challenging quick long range dunes , with very little interruptions from refusals and stucks (except mine lol). Was just the ticket to start the weekend off with a buzz. Thanks for the dates and Coffee the boss was especially grateful for he coffee Great support from @imranaasghar81 And @Junaid120120 sweep and CF respectively, you guys did a great job keeping use all together and most of all safe. There was also some great radio work from the team which was much needed as there was a lot of traffic out there today a lot of whom were not as disciplined as the Carnity team., so it got a tad hairy in places. Dear Desertnauts "Mystery is defined as something that is secret".... and a mystery the drive will be. No information as to where we are going, where we are exiting, or when. No info about the convoy order (which is ready, but will be announced tomorrow morning). @Hisham Masaadfrom the time you said enough of the warm up it was just non stop long range dunes. you never fail to impress every single time. Totally agree @Davie Chase, you briefed the drive very well. Amazing day, with amazing team. Everyone was on time ready to move, we had to wait sometime for @Ahmad Shaker since he did not message or notify he is not joining. Started moving 7:20 am, weather was nice, and everyone was ready for the challenges. After sometime, warming and moving to real area, I have realized I have strong drivers, controlling, know how to handle, which gave me confidence to push the level keeping safety always priority. Every one was good, met all challenges and knew the capabilities of his car. Usually these drives, we don’t reach so far, but we managed to spread our drive almost every where, reaching Iftar bowl. A morning very well spent. @Brette Thanks for keeping the convoy away from “Shk. Zayed Road” traffic 🤪 @Vanessa8580got more than my weekly excercise routine. Much appreciated her amazing support for multiple recoveries and refusals all throughout the drive. Thanks to all for making the day wonderful.

We got some refusals and STUCK today but i didn’t see anything @Vanessa8580 🤦‍♂️.. 😁 Another great experience with some soft sands and tricky dunes. tested X-terra for these conditions. Thank you Guys. Will see you in next drive. 👍

Plan is to do 80-100kms max with enough breaks and exit by 4PM or till the first car fuel runs out and exit from nearby exit (20-25 km track), whichever comes early.
