  1. It was a morning well spent! I was initially a bit skeptical about a small convoy....but as remarked by one of the members that the small  size of the convoy is not far off the master class in that a personal tutorial imparted during the drive makes all the difference.    @Jeepie, @Anish S and @Thomas Varghese thank you for a great drive! @Anish S did a great job leading under @Jeepie watch who coordinated the drive and @Thomas Varghese i would like to say I felt very safe with you as the Sweep at the back! Thank you and have an awesome weekend!

@William Fernandes Sunrise & Sunset in the desert is a treat for the eyes. No photography can capture the full color gamut of these 2 events.

I could not have put it better @Thomas Varghese! You seem to be in your element when it comes to photography!

  3. Dear @Kailas, @Yousef Alimadadi, @Arun Mathew and @Javier Lucero, once again wanted to extend my appreciation for   a great drive and superb teamwork exhibited by all. @Kailas kudos to you for structuring the drive the way you did, enjoyed the ridge driving although it did take me a couple of attempts to get to a satisfactory level, ridge criss-crossing was great and it did put my fewbie skills to test!😅. Having several play areas spots along the drive was a great flavor to the entire journey! So well done you!

  4. Thanks for the prompt report @Wrangeld, and great feedback. I know I have a long way to go. The point in your report that clearly resonates with me was the soft sand at various points that I need to come to terms with reading and manoeuvring. In fullness of time I hope I will get there. All in all you had it all at hand, imparting a great deal of tips and skills throughout the drive and recoveries, I had a great time! Thanks also  to @Nizam Deen, @imranaasghar81 and @Hennie Schoeman have a great weekend chaps!

  5. Good evening all, If I may chip in if it helps at all, there are two aspects and this works for me, one is the emotional journey ie the make, the model, color snd type of car, including the feel and comfort during a test drive, once that’s out of the way, I would subject the car to a thorough inspection, a complete inspection report would possibly cost around AED 200 to 300 I suppose, this would possibly give you an indication of the price and whether you are getting good value for money and if it will serve the purpose. Some imports normally have what’s known as PSI (Pre Shipment inspection report.....sighting that will be helpful) Once you have got that done you are better placed to decide to either go ahead with the acquisition or not! Good luck @Trekado
