  1. Thank you so much @Hisham Masaad!🙏🙏🙏. You’re an amazing lead👋👋👋 👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋 WELL DONE! (see full line of claps)

I consider this as one of my big achievements since started off-roading.  And you help us made it happen! Amazing pace, tracks, obstacles, dunes climb and sceneries.

I considered this option, requested a few quotes, but in reality it translates into at least $ 100 per month. On the trolley the roof just stood behind the curtain in the main room in my appartment and guests did not even notice that there was something there

You need to make new friends from the warehouse @Ilya😅😅😅

actually my stock front bumper is being stored there FOC. 👍

  3. To update you guys on the Hard top developments…

✔️Hard top storage is being arranged in a logistics warehouse in DIP

✔️Manpower to remove is also arranged

✔️Front mesh sunshade from Bezos is ordered

Cargo area top cover to be customized by upholstery shop from Naif.  We’ll see…

Hi @Reggie Landicho this has been on back of mind then convinced myself I don't have much things and Dubai is a safe place...😂

However I do have the soft mesh that I have installed in my car. I haven't got the one for trunk but is in my list.

There are good options at reasonable price available at Amazon and very easy to connect. Ofcourse for full flexibility you can add in complete soft top from Bestop or similar available for around 5k.

Oh yes this is already in my list😃.

Thank you @Ilya, @varunmehndiratta🙏 Appreciate all the inputs.

Hey @Reggie Landicho reg storage somehow the under mat storage is pretty good in JLU, I fit in most stuff there (rope, shackles, med kit, deflator, guage, Leatherman set etc) other than compressor which for me goes between seats while driving.. not sure you driving 4d or 2d and if there's a diff..

For shovel and extinguisher I have them hanging on the roll cage in trunk using C clamps and extinguisher belt...

Thanks Guys, apologies, my question was not clear about securing gear.  I mean if we remove the hard top, the whole car is basically open. So how do you keep the gears inside secure and don’t get stolen?

  6. Very well said @Looper & @Ilya, you gave me 2 scenarios as based on your experiences. I totally agree to both of you. I think its about the experience and see if it suits me. Though, with window down, dust goes into your mouth is really annoying but nevertheless, I need to feed my curiosity and see from there, plus, its only a weekend car for me.

From storage point, I like the solutions there @Ilya but for me putting it in the house would make wife ballistic, as I've got full acoustic drums and 2 large aquariums🤔.  Storage on my parking space would be a challenge as the building mgt does not allow this.

Are there any garage who would store it for just a season, anyone with any experience on this?
