Morning Intermediate Desert Drive - Al Saad to Sweihan - Abu Dhabi - 3 Jun 2023

DRIVE DESCRIPTION

The plan is to enter to south of Sweihan - close to Al Ain. We will start driving north though some beautiful terrain. This drive is expected to be a long distance marathon , however we will have our fair share of the enjoying surfing on these magnificent dunes. As always we will be prepared for Plan B, C, D....:)

Drive Details

Level: Intermediate and Above 

When: 03 June 2023  - Saturday

Meeting time: 5 AM (SHARP - Without any exceptions)

Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance.

What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, face mask, rubber gloves, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Approximate finish time: 09:00 AM

Mandatory off-road gears: Tire deflator, tire pressure gauge, compressor, walkie-talkie radio, off-road flag, shovel, first-aid kit and fire extinguisher.

 

LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE

• This drive is limited to 10 cars only. RSVP will close on FRIDAY - 12 PM
• If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, once anyone drops, you will be moved to the RSVP list.
• RSVP will close a day prior to preparing a convoy list.
• Latecomers will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
• Members without RSVP will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
• Please withdraw your RSVP, if you aren't joining, so your spot can be taken by others.
• Repeated no-show members after RSVP will have their account suspended for a month.

we do have @Vaibhav waitlisted for his first drive for the week along with @Bjoern and @Mohamad Anwer who are looking to extend their fun on the weekend. 

I request all to update your rsvp in case their are any chances of a dropout from the drive.

Please ensure your machines are in good condition.

Hello @GauravSoni My car is in the garage at the moment. They said it will be ready by tomorrow.

In case it isn't, I will remove my rsvp and give a chance to waitlisted members but for now, I am STILL CONFIRMED to drive.

Surprise Element is always split convoy, so hope is not lost for the WaitListers... in that case, i'll add myself to WL 😁

Only one FB drive with new car

Also I am seeing that your last drive was in February this year which is quite a gap to resume with an IM especially with a change in vehicle..

Being an IM, you would surely understand the sync required on these high level drives between the man and the machine.. 

Unless you have been off-roading regularly in last couple of months, I would strongly advise you to join a lower level drive to get back in groove. 

There are FB +level drive available for this week with open slots u can join in
