Luke K P
Excellent fun driving with you all today! Thanks for leading us in and out @Asif Hussain I have us at 100km flat. We started heading south west with some nice big drops and open sabkha areas to warm up the cars. First break at the 20km mark. From here we kept heading towards the date farm Oasis where we stopped for brunch Kept heading out towards the yellow truck and had some stoppage time where we had a couple of stucks in the soft POCKET OF DEATH.☠️ After finding the yellow truck and posing for @Marek_was003 photos we headed due east past the water plant and back to civilisation. Again, excellent driving everyone. Some soft patches and we never needed to get the ropes out! See you all next time. Looking forward to seeing all you pics in the gallery 🙏🌞 2 1
Aser
Big thank you to @Asif Hussain it was an EPIC first drive for me as fewbie, the whole family and the dogs had a great time! It was a pleasure to drive with you all, special thanks to @PAJERO petelczyc luke for his great support a couple of times we got into trouble 😅 After the first few dunes I have to say I had almost shaking and sweaty hands 🤣. We really enjoyed descending the big dunes with the "singing sand" 👌 We can't wait for the next "exploration drive"!
Marek
Those sands, those infinite areas... time well spent. And the sound the sand makes when you plunge 50 meters down... unforgettable. @Asif Hussain something for you! What a drive! Thank you sir for the opportunity! The Yellow Truck is still there - we found it! I could see a small Carnity sticker on the roof - nice accent. This was probably the most memorable dune for many: I'm tired like hell from the drive, but I have to say this one rose the bar high! I wish we had dunes like these closer to Dubai. @PAJERO petelczyc luke, your flag is something else (size wise) Happy crew together: Looking forward to some more trips like this! 1 3
Julien Recan
Such a memorable day for me. This was really next level fun (and challenge). Thank you @Asif Hussain for the superb lead and the rest of the team for the help and guidance (special mention to @PAJERO petelczyc luke who got me out of trouble more than a couple of times :)). Thanks to our photographer @Marek_was003 - can’t wait to see those pictures mate ! 1

Marek
@PAJERO petelczyc luke next time please use a smaller flag - it's super hard to capture your car in full without cutting it out 2
Marek
https://carnity.com/gallery/category/1927-fewbie-liwa-yellow-truck-abu-dhabi-7-jan-2024/ full gallery. vb compresses the pics a lot, so the quality is not as good as I would want it - if you want higher res / less compressed version of any of these pics - send me @ on fromcarnity (at) msmdemo (dot) com Next time we need to make more of these: Or these: I could also point out that the newbie briefing should underline the importance of closing your windows during tricky situations like this @Joseph Raju I can only imagine amount of sand in your car after this approach! 1 2
