Sorry guys for the late post. Once again thank you all for joining the drive. I enjoyed every bit of it. Thanks @topgear, @Looper, @Chris Wing & @GauravSoni for your support. We had a mixed the experienced drivers along with others. Towards the end of the drive ( last hour), I could feel most of the drivers were tired and we had more refusals. Night drives are more tiring than day drives. Hence for my future drives, I will be posting drives with drive time less than 3 hours and probably 30 minutes break to enjoy the sky. Please find the stats below:

Time to carry chairs to sit and enjoy the stars. It will be wonderful to see the stars in the cloudless sky irrespective of the light pollution even in Dubai deserts. Thanks @Kailas for a wonderful drive, and great support by @topgear, @Chris Wing and @GauravSoni who did all the work.

Dear riders!! With a huge waitlist this week for this area drive, we have decided to add another drive starting same meeting point. Drive Details Level: Fewbie and above (all levels) Meeting time: 3:00 PM (SHARP - Without any exceptions) Meeting Point: Dropped pin https://maps.app.goo.gl/KpNVJmVnV8NpnqQx5 Action Plan: On account of the long waiting list for the drive scheduled this coming Saturday, it has been decided to post a new drive, like a preview, to take place in midweek, and open it up to the waitlisted members, who may not actually make the convoy on Saturday. Same drive, same spirit, less crowded, and more exploratory. Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance. What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, face mask, rubber gloves, enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Approximate finish time: 6:30 PM P.S. Only join if you have a compressor to inflate your tires after the drive.

Hello @Dimitrios Kalogirou. That will depend on how the waiting list will move. At the moment it's still quite long, and the system will let waitlisted members into the drive, as signed up members will cancel (if they do), according to the order of the WL. Let's see. Thanks anyways.

Dear friends,,, might be early to discuss, but with the number of names between attendees and waitlisted, made me start from today. I do appreciate shortage of drives over next weekend, due to other commitments of our leads and marshals, not able to post drives as usual, which of course added load on the current posted drives. However, we still have time till weekend, and hope will find a solution, making all join the drive or other. For the time being, will be good and appreciated to re consider your joining from not. This is not for the attendees only, but for the waitlisted names as well. Since it happened when there is a drop out, system is moving names automatically, and some times waitlisted names change their mind and decide not to join, without taking their name out. Hi all, thank you for an amazing experience on a Saturday night. I am very sorry for not being able to say goodbye to everyone but my small boys were sleeping already and I had to bring them to bed urgently! Special Thanks to @Kailas@Gaurav Soni @Looper and @topgear for the smooth ride and the great pace! Have a great week ahead looking forward to meet all of you again in the sand!

We all headed out into the sands eager to see what the desert has in store for us. The dunes behind the Remah camel race track are a gem and we had our fill in that area. Everyone drove very well and with a super capable second lead in @Jorge Stepniak Felippe I was free of worries and could keep the pace going. A pop-out took a bit longer as the tyre sustained some damage and we had to install the spare tyre. Later on in the drive @Arda Yagcioglu his Xterra started to have some issues, starting with a Check Engine light, and later on a Valve lifter noise. We decided to take no risks and instead of going up north towards Fayah, we took the exit track down south towards Al Khaznah town. The car sounded fine at the exit but it will need a checkup I’m afraid. I hope you enjoyed a good morning out and hope we can do this again soon !

Great drive! Thanks @Kailasfor organising it. Was a big convoy and everyone performed real well! Driving at night is so enjoyable. Next time we are going to bring some chairs to appreciate the stars a bit more during our mid-drive break Thanks to @Looper , @topgear and @Gaurav Soni for the tremendous help

@Frederic thank you for an excellent drive today was extremely enjoyable as always, loved the free flowing mid to long range dunes in a beautiful part of the UAE. with a great bunch of folks. hardly any stucks or refusals and only had to get the shovel out once, that is always a blessing great Second lead by @Jorge Stepniak Felippe and was a pleasure to drive with old and new friends you guys always make it a special and enjoyable morning out @Naveen Raj @MMansoor@H3 Joe@Archibald Jurdi@Anoop Nair @Arda Yagcioglu and not to forget our three sweepers lol @Looper @Kailas @GauravSoni thanks again was a great way to spend Sunday morning @Arda Yagcioglu hope you get your car sorted mate
