  1. Thank you all for joining this morning. I think @Charbel had it straight, it was a superb drive. No need to elaborate much more, these ridges were beautiful, and we have shared a great time. The terrain was not easy, especially with some nasty pockets hidden inside the dunes, and the long ridges requiring concentration and excellent control of the car. As a group, you have been perfect, being focused on your lines, and supporting each other when needed. Special thanks @Daniel Rodas for the second lead, perfectly anticipating my moves, @Vanessa8580, @Charbel, @Vaibhav for the support and assistance for the few stucks we had. You were on the spot before I could realize something was happening. @siddharth maheshwari, @Yusuf Esaf, welcome back to Carnity after a long time. @Tareq Al Turq, @salah2u always good to have you in the drive. And congratulations to @Jonny90 amazing driving for his first FB+. Enjoy the rest of the weekend and see you soon on the sand!

  19. I am delighted to welcome you to Carnity and accompany you throughout this Newbie drive tomorrow morning across some of the beautiful Qudra dunes. Great to reunite with some of the old friends whom we haven't met for sometime and excited to welcome others whom I haven't had the pleasure of meeting before. Pre-drive details below: Please be on time and bring all your passion for off-roading and pull as much as you can of yourself out of bed.. trust me you will need all of it. Be at the meeting point by 6:00am (or before) and start deflating your tires to 14psi (front) and 13psi (rear) Please ensure your programable radio is on, fully charged and set to Channel 1 (446,006) Briefing will be done on the sand before we start moving Please ensure everything in the car is tied down and there are no moving objects Please check all car fluids, tow hooks, and ensure no hanging parts below the chassis. please ensure you come with a full tank (as much as possible) in addition to safety flag and radio and all necessary gear for this drive level specially your tire deflator, pressure gauge and a compressor (No FLAG or RADIO = No Drive). For AN drivers don't worry about the gear for this drive as it's your first, if you have a flag and radio would be great. If you don't have radio let me know to arrange one for you for tomorrow until you get yours later. Meeting Point: https://goo.gl/maps/vvzA3QbzUmf6UD1K9 Convoy Order: see u all shining tomorrow on the sand 🤩

  31. Always try to recover in a straight line as much as possible. If straight isn't possible, then a slight diagonal angle would have saved this rollover; instead of recovering at this acute 90-degree angle, which was a perfect recipe for disaster. Secondly, speed of pull was too high for the first attempt, always start with soft pull first which help break the sand resistance gently. Minimum 3 soft pulls before attempting medium strength pull. Heights of people with so much lack of mere common sense to not to put basics of physics and geometry in such a simple application.
