  2. Sometimes you have only one shot once for all but not always things comes as anticipated. The D shackle I put on my side was hard to dismantle due to very tight rope to max. I aborted the idea of cutting the rope or the soft shackle at @Waqas Parvez side because I was afraid the sudden rebound after cutting might hurt some one or the one who cuts even if we put sand bag or extra safety rope . luckily as you see in the picture the dune in front of @Karthik Raptor car would allow his front to point up which will be in favour to reverse back and this also another reason why I didn’t double rope his car to waqas other wise we would need a 4th car if all would tight πŸ˜… eventually it was done with excellent coordination between the 3 in the cars and @Vaibhavwho was our eyes out side observing the rope . well done all πŸ‘πŸ™

  9. Hi @Carnity family, Posting this to the Pajero community following the nice gesture from @Hisham Masaad to help out community members. Following that I decided to pay it forward by sharing some of my Pajero accessories. These are Matt black mirror covers and door handles which I want Carnity members to benefit from. My Pajero is a 2020 and they were a perfect fit for 2 weeks before I de-chromed the entire car and removed them accordingly. I am guessing it should fit any gen4 pajero as there shouldn’t be any changes to the mirror and handle designs. Not a single scratch on them. Please reach out to me if you want to put them on. My only request is to share photos with the Pajero community here to show how good Pajeros look like when pampered Message me to coordinate for collection. First come first serve of course. Thank you!

  12. Dear Desertnauts a quick memo for tomorrow's Speed King drive. Meeting Point - Just at the end of the tarmac road in front of the National Guard's barracks. We'll cross a construction area to enter the sabkha just beyond. Kindly reach in time to make sure we leave as close to 3:00 PM as possible. Please notice that the last bit of road to reach the meeting point is in Abu Dhabi, where speed limits are monitored differently than Dubai. Watch out (only start speeding once on the sand! πŸ˜…) Planned itinerary - After a short detour north-west, toward the Oryx farms, we'll double back toward the fenced in shooting range, which we'll coast along its fence to reach Little Sweihan. We plan to cross this higher and tighter area of dune going east, to reach the sabkhas and technical dunes that separate it from Faqa's plateau. If we'll have time left on the 2-hour clock, with enough sunlight ahead of us, we'll look to exit at Faqa. If not, we'll head up to Solar Park. The goal is a high-speed drive, so we'll not spend time looping around dunes, but we'll just cut through them, as quickly as possible. Convoy order - We'll line up as follows @Ignacio QuindΓ³s in Second Lead @Ashutosh Garg at #3 @Jessica Lambert at #4 @Fabien Monleau in the Center @Senthil Kumar in #6 @Sunil Mathew at #7 @Beide Worku #8, and @Pacific in Sweep Radio frequency - to be chosen before setting off. See you all tomorrow, with your stereos ready to crank some gool old school hard rock!
