  1. So, after some thinking, investigation with @Carnity members and reading through this thread, I got my Apex Valves and I must say they are incredibly fast. The engineer in me, however, never rests, so the first thing I did was a proper before / after time comparison with the aid of my professional stopwatch operator, my son Miki, to see how serious were the multiple claims I had read. Here it is.. Test on Apex Valves done on single BFGoodrich 255/75R17 A/T KM2 tire: Deflation time (from 35psi to 9psi including fine pressure tuning and cap removal / reinstatement) - normal valve: 90" - Apex valve: 30" Result: Apex 200% faster Inflation time (from 9 psi to 35psi including cap removal/reinstatement and pressure fine tuning) - normal valve: 95" - Apex valve: 70" Result: Apex 35% faster Conclusions: (i.e. how to justify my next mod to my wife): I will sleep 4 more minutes before every morning drive and get home 1'40" earlier after every drive. Considering I do approx. 100 drives per year, assuming a lifespan of these valves of at least 2 years, I'll be saving in total almost 10h/year, at a cost of 35 AED/h .. That is, of course, unless I get wider tires, which would increase the above benefits proportionally.. 😂😂😂

  2. @Adhir Saxena, @Nithin Vaidir, @Jeandre Bezuidenhout; @Chris Wing; @JeromeFJ; @darren thompson; @Ranjan Das @Yusuf Esaf Thank you for participating in the drive which enjoyed it very much. We started the drive nice and slow from Bab al Shams with long dunes and almost no tracks at all infront of us. We then entered into a slightly more technical area when we had 1 pop-out which @Jeandre Bezuidenhouttook the lead in resolving completely. Afterwards we had a small number of refusals and self recoveries. I noticed that the convoy was doing very well especially at the back of the convoy, so we stepped it up a little by doing relatively a few easy criss-crossings which again everyone handled quite well. We also tried straight dune crossing which resulted in a few crests but were tugged out relatively quickly by the seniors and by @Nithin Vaidir for his very first time. @marks; @Islam Soliman -- Thank you for the excellent support !

  3. Again, thanks a lot everyone for being on time this morning and how quick all cars were deflated, flags up, radios on so we started to make a move at 5:12am .. Personally I am very happy with how the drive went and how we as a team performed .. honestly I was tempted to push the pace further and extend the drive to get to Angela’s bowl but it was getting really hot so opted to safely exit on time. Few refusals and stucks all managed quite fast and efficient with the great leadership of @Emmanuel and support of @Ahab Shamaa and @Watteau. Not a single tug robe was extended but rather team shoveling exercised while complying to COVID19 rules or excellent self recovery in most occasions. Amazing driving skills and excellent teaming .. thanks again We go for every drive to enjoy something we love, release stress, connect with nature and the beautiful sceneries, but we also learn a lot during each drive and go back home with better skills and more confidence .. the drive combined different terrain ranging from side sloping high dunes, technical tight area, criss-crossing and sweeping fast through high long ranges. looking at the drive statistics you made almost 67KM in 3:45hrs with only 24mins stop time (including all breaks) that is a great performance showing how good you all drove today.. congratulations and hope you too enjoyed it as much as I did. Huge thanks to @Emmanuel for joining and supporting the drive and for all the tips and feedback. Sincere appreciation to @Ahab Shamaa @Watteau and @Lawrence_Chehimi for the amazing support extended to me and the whole convoy today.

  4. DRIVE REPORT I arrived a bit early, and was able to meet and greet our Fewbie convoy that was almost good to go. Was great seeing some of our Dubai Fewbie members @Warren Flay and @Lakshmi Narasimhan coming over to Abu Dhabi to enjoy this terrain. It says a lot about their commitment and offroad spirit. Well done guys ! Soon i noticed a white Pajero pulling in. @Jerry Han was joining us for the first time with his wife, and was eager to learn today and explore the dunes together with us. Buddies @Naveen Raj and @Sherry Mathew Jacob brought a Lexus GXR460 and a Jeep Grand Cherokee to the party. @Josh T. who i had the pleasure of meeting the week prior, was our second lead, and @Kailas provided superb support at the back. We started off with some gentle slopes and gradually built it up a bit. We practiced straight-cresting, and some side sloping while getting accustomed to the terrain. Everyone did really well. We had unfortunately some plastic that came off the Lexus @Naveen Raj was driving. This was mainly due to the low hanging bumper in the front. On @Jerry Han his Pajero is was more the rear Pajero scoop effect that will need a bit of protection to avoid it from coming off completely. @Josh T. i was really happy and impressed with the help and instructions you gave to @Jerry Han who was behind you. This is the exact role a second lead should be doing and the fact that you grasp this so easily shows you are a true team player. I see you growing in our club very soon: you have the right attitude, team spirit, and a perfect offroad beast that goes along with it ! @Jerry Han you did great for your first offroad drive ! The more drives you do, the more you will master the art of perfect throttle control so you can keep the bumpers intact at all times @Naveen Raj the Lexus is a fantastic 4x4 and you did great as well ! The low hanging bumpers are a bit more difficult and generally the damage will occur on your first 3-4 drives where it is still normal as you are still finding your momentum and throttle control as well. @Sherry Mathew Jacob the Jeep Grand Cherokee has lots of electronics. If you have questions about it, we have some amazing Carnity members around that know these vehicles very well, @Bretteis one of them. You did really great ! During the second part of the drive i wanted to explore a track which i had not done before yet. Soon we found majestic and enormous dune formations and we had some great fun meandering through them ! I had found an possible exit which went along a fence, but my satellite map forgot to tell me that there was sand and dunes blown over the track, which meant we had to go back inside a bit and re-route to find a cleaner exit. We exited at the Nahel Petrol station were we inflated and had a quick chat before heading home. All in all a great morning with a bunch of great potentials ! I will be back in Sweihan soon and hope to be riding with you guys again !

  5. Amazing drive @Islam Soliman. The idea of having similar cars with a mix of experience is 👍🏻👍🏻 Well driven @Lawrence_Chehimias our second lead! You drove with absolute finesse and confidence! And showcased a perfect 2nd lead. Your improvement and your ability to handle the beast is just mashallah! @Humayun Ghias you drove brilliantly following Lawrence with sheer confidence.. picking up again after standstill on soft patch can be very tricky. It’s always better to stop with the nose pointing downwards to avoid refusals. @Darren Brooke from last time we met on the Sharjah bowls, you seem in complete control of your car! You handled couple of refusals like boss!! @Yusuf Esaf you were missed! Hope to catch up on future drives! The wranglers had flawless drives @Ruan van den Heever@Ranjan Das didn’t hear you guys at all on the radio…I am sure you had fun! @Ahab Shamaa thanks for anchoring the convoy in the Center! it’s always great fun to have you on the drives! @JeromeFJ amazing drive! You matched Ahab’s FJ with impeccable perfection! Just brilliant driving! @Lakshmi Narasimhan well driven buddy! It’s nice to see you on my rear view skilfully navigating the churned up tracks! It’s always challenge a drive at the back with almost 10 cars ahead! I am glad that pedal control is working out for you! The only stuck you had cause of my refusal on a soft patch on the top one the climb! I am sure that was learning for both of us! @Watteau I am sure you had fun today sweeping the convoy! It was reassuring to have you at the back with all the raw power and winch. It is always a good sign that you didn’t get to use them as the convoy drive brilliantly. @Emmanuel it was absolute pleasure to meet you today! Hope to catch up with you soon driving with your lead! Until next time!!! 🤟🏻

  6. Drive Report Where’s a car thief when you need one? Ha!! It could have been an absolute disaster when my car freakishly decided to lock with the keys inside. We tried all the tricks we had seen on tv but , I guess we should be thankful that no one in the convoy knew how to break into a car. Hee hee 1 million thanks to @Desert Dweller who literally saved the day by giving up her car which allowed me to take the convoy into the sand. Her actions verted an absolute disaster as the only other alternative was to cancel the drive. I’m sure the entire convoy was as grateful as I was And so we headed in around 4pm and made our way to the play area. We started off gently, the convoy taking turns to navigate a gentle side slope which everyone handled really well, there was no fishtailing , and everyone applied the correct amount of power. We continued into the dunes and had a couple of refusals along the way which @Goutamhelped resolve. At one point I let @Desert Dwellerout of the car to assist @Rory Ashman who was having some issues with the gears on his wrangler. I think that was the only time we had to get the rope out. As we continued, I increased the challenge, we had another delightful area for the convoy to practice some gentle side sloping, Once again, the entire convoy stepped up to the challenge and every driver completed the task with aplomb with not a fishtail in sight and applying the correct amount of gas to give just enough momentum. BRAVO! It was hard to believe that for many this was their first newbie drive given how well everyone was coping. As such I decided to increase the level ever so slightly, not the pace, but the technical aspect and we headed into some nice dunes that saw the convoy cross some low level , round ridges. Aside from a couple of refusals at the back in the churned-up sand (to be expected) the convoy kept moving. And so it continued as we played around the bowls of Margham, enjoying the cool evening breeze and watching the sunset as we drove up and around in and out of the many dunes . We even had a pop out in a great location which allowed the entire convoy to circle their cars around and watch as the issue was resolved with ease. It was such a great fun drive, and that is all down to you guys! @shu yang you handle that Y62 very well, but perhaps your son disagrees haha. @JamesThorn, a flawless drive, well done. Likewise @Larry Cadden you had a great drive. @Rory Ashman you found your desert wheels and did well after a sticky start. @Aisha S well done, nice driving and thanks for the pop out learning opportunity., @Saddaquat Tanvir well done you handle the LC well. @Charbel Yazbeck amazed at the progress you have made in just a couple of weeks, well done! @Sunil Mathew, flawless drive, likewise @Simon Hope and @WaYan, both of you had flawless drives at the back of a very long convoy. Bravo! Many many thanks to @Ammar Naji who was the perfect second lead , thank you for listening and diverting when I needed you to. You did an amazing job. Also to @Wade Pat2 who anchored the middle of the convoy for me as a very last minute CF and to @Goutamwho swept at the back, helped keep everything moving and was great helping with recoveries when needed. Of course , thanks again to @Desert Dweller, without whom, this drive would never have happened and for the support when needed. Finally, a massive thanks to the entire convoy, not only for your great driving, but that you all listened to instructions and clearly communicated via the radio all of which helped make this a great, fun and safe drive. Until our next adventure 😊

  7. Thanks @Islam Soliman for the nice drive @Emmanuel, @Lawrence_Chehimi, @Ahab Shamaa and @Watteaufor the support. Thanks to all the friends for joining the wonderful drive full of fun, challenge and lots of learning. Probably lets start little early next time to spend more time driving during the summer. Thanks @Gaurav Sonifor the tips to handle Pajero’s limitation driving over 4000 rpm. Tried couple of time to challenge but Pajero stayed true to the limitation and applied your tips which really worked there after climbing the dune. Good learning for me. Looking forward to join another wonderful drive asap. Have a nice week ahead.

  10. Driving with @Srikumar never gets old. I the pace and the amount of thrill in his drives. @M.Seidam Handled most of the recoveries, well done. Tbh I was focusing on my own driving through most of the drive as the off-roading Guru @Gaurav was keeping a close eye on me 😂 Looking forward for more drives.

  13. Many thanks @Vanessa8580for the drive. Glad to join you again, and having @TT_Dubai @Zixuan Huang @Paolo Pellegrini @Alfred Alinazar @Anoop Nair @Talgat Mendibaev @Luc Khaldoun @Shaaz Sha @Rjducos @Ivan Pironi @Goutam and the hero, who spend day and night in desert @Gaurav Soni. I feel one day @Gaurav Soni for you not to waste time going back home, you will have a tent in the desert, waiting for the drives 😂Just make sure it is close to meeting point. Really enjoyed the drive, despite @Vanessa8580changing the plan to meet matching route level to the group. @Talgat MendibaevI think you need to have more confidence in your self and your car. BTW, I am not sure you have changed both tires cause they are old....!! I think you changed them for both to look the same, hoping the government back home will not notice the deference between the tires 🤣 🤣 Which is really smart to do 👍

  14. Well said @Lorenzo Candelpergher So much learned on this drive and your pre-drive description was accurate, allowing us to come in with the right mind set. This one seemed to be a cross between rock crawling and dune bashing. Slow and steady with thoughtful coordination and communication. That’s what I like about my experience with Carnity: the mix of terrain is a great preparation for anything that comes our way. Speaking of which, I certainly wouldn’t mind Carnity trying out some mountain or wadi drives. Overall, a solid technical drive. I personally feel more confident tackling tricky terrain and that’s the point. Glad to have joined in and looking forward to the next. Thanks to @Ale Vallecchi for the recovery support and clear explanations. Keep up the good work.

  15. Yesterday was my second drive with Carnity and I'm very happy for the amount of learning I got so far. I learned that Pajero is almost the most common offroad car here in Carnity and yesterday @Vanessa8580 gave me the confidence that I can do (almost) anything with my car. In fact I got several refusal but I manage to came out. I feel that I need proper AT Tyres to get that bit of more grip on the steep climbs. I was then impressed by the spirit and the adaptability of the group, everybody was very supportive and keen to share suggestions and tips. I was lucky to be almost in the front, get clean sand and following 2 great excellent drivers like @TT_Dubai and @Zixuan Huang , it was a pleasure spend good 20 minutes with them together with @Anoop Nair and @Alfred Alinazarwhile @Hisham Masaad @Gaurav Soni @Shaaz Sha where helping a complex situation. I'm also very happy that I convinced my old friend @Ivan Pironi to join me on these trips. He is not a morning person but he is absolutely crazy about motors! Thank you all. When I tought that is there nothing you can do in Dubai because it is too hot here comes this fantastic club!

  16. As usual, I managed to get refusal several times. It was a good experience so that I could understand my car better. Special thanks to @Vanessa8580 for the Pajero trick. I didn't know before that manual gear, especially gear-1 was very useful for climbing. Nice to catch up again with @TT_Dubai and @Gaurav Soni. And nice to meet you @Zixuan Huang, @Paolo Pellegrini, @Anoop Nair, @Talgat Mendibaev, @Luc Khaldoun, @Shaaz Sha, @Ivan Pironi. Hope to see you all again on the other drives

  17. Thanks @Francois Germishuys for your detailed and valuable feedback on today's extreme drive. This surely help us define stringent process to vet extreme drivers. As per Carnity belief we do agree that we have to help each other and wait patiently, but by no means extreme drive should turn as a qualifying round for new extreme drivers. Extreme drives should always offer a top-notch drive experience for worthy and qualified extreme drivers, who look up to such drives with great expectations. As we have recently updated the structure, and added new extreme rank, so very soon will roll out the extreme driver selection process shortly.

  18. Great drive today, the area is spectacular and the drive was challenging and testing. It was a good group of drivers with very few problems for the majority of the drive. There were a few issues late on with a pop out, plus my own 4 wheel drive, low and high shifter cable snapping left me in permanent neutral was interesting but by lying underneath the car and manually changing with my wheel wrench managed to solve. As always plenty of support and I much appreciated Anish checking I got home OK and Paulo for insisting on following me home just in case I had an issue. These are the reasons I enjoy being part of the Carnity family with such a great team spirit.

  22. Large but well organised convoy this morning. Thanks Vanessa for organising and leading! The morning drives get earlier and earlier and darker and darker... I managed to lose my valve whilst deflating in the dark and thankfully a spare was offered by @Hisham Masaad and the kind offer of a powerful torch. @Vanessa8580managed to locate my original valve and we were soon on our way. Thank you both! Drive warmed up at a gentle pace as we all enjoyed a particularly cool and breezy morning accompanied by a stunning sunrise. We drove up and down some small dunes as we weaved towards Pink Rock. Bumped into Brett's drive too - I realised when I heard @Russ Raptor before seeing it! Every one drove really well and climbed Pink Rock with no problems. Unfortunately @Talgat Mendibaev suffered a puncture at the top of Pink Rock hitting a sharp rock on his low profile tyre but amazingly a spare spacesaver was put on in 15 min. Hope this experience does not put you off. I have had many issues myself in earlier Newbie drives (clutch exploding coming down Faya, overheating issues, check engine light and limp mode when trying to climb Fossil Rock) but I still wake up early and come back for more (but I leave my temperamental Jeep at home 😅) - hope this is the same for you and you won't be left alone! We had a couple of stucks as the pace picked up after Pink Rock but nothing too serious and most were self recovered. @Luc Khaldoun experienced a trickier recovery but made it out from the soft sand pocket with Vanessa at the wheel! Really liked your discrete mods on your Y62 and hope to have the chance of a closer look in future! Always nice to see and catch up with @Zixuan Huang@Alfred Alinazar@Anoop Nair and @Gaurav Soni on the drives. Nice to meet @Rjducos @Goutam@Ivan Pironi@Shaz Shah@Paolo Pellegrini and @Hisham Masaad (who was happily walking around catching up with drivers while his tyres were being simultaneously inflated via his iPhone app - as per the other thread!) Love the mods on your FJC - you clearly mean business! A couple of pics in the gallery. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

It was my first Fewbie ride and I encountered plenty of challenges: a few refusals and my first ever pop out! Certainly one to remember and I enjoyed it tremendously. Best, Pierre

  24. DRIVE REPORT Dear Desert Wanderers, I guess this was one of those drives that will be remembered by all those who attended it for some time. After many drives in known areas, today we had a chance to explore a new territory, an absolute novelty for @Carnity drives, and it was certainly a challenging but rewarding experience for us all. Al Bataeh area, believed for long time inaccessible due to the extensive fencing visible from the nearby roads, is - in fact - a hidden gem, offering a very challenging terrain with beautiful views on irregular an complex terraced dunes, with sudden passages from high grounds to low grounds gifting a great travel experience. We started quite on time, making our entry in the desert from the Ibn Rasheed roundabout at 5:25am. After crossing a rather flat area with small dunes and some occasional rock formations, we moved past the farms, drove along some long ridges and entered the first technical area of the drive. It was a amazing terrain, with some long east/west ridges mixed with some very irregular dune complexes, characterised by multiple terraced layers, with totally virgin sand, looking incredibly appealing for our a climbing attempts. The significant technical level of the drive became very soon evident as we started collecting refusals and stucks one after the other, especially at the back, where the big trucks had to fight through very churned sand: @Ale Vallecchi's drive, after just a few mins, was clearly going to be all about managing such situation, while I had the luxury, at the front, of a couple more breaks than usual allowing me to take a few nice photos. As we slowly made our way north, the convoy progressively came to terms with the terrain, which was however extremely technical with lots of complex passages and unpredictable soft patches. As @Ale Vallecchi commented, today's drive felt in many way an exploration adventure: we really had to find out way though a totally virgin and absolutely not obvious to read terrain, where we never met a single track of any other car. @Arman was a great second lead, always careful and responsive to my last second rerouting and careful at stopping early enough when I had a refusal (and I had quite a few today). @imranaasghar81 and @Abdul Rahman AK at their first intermediate drive, were both "tempered" by today's thrilling drive, demanded to get to the very best out of their driving capabilities, which they both brilliantly exhibited.. @Gok Krish, after the last mid-week prep session in Little Sweithan drive, again showed a brilliant performance, including his ever first tug recovery helping @Rizwan Waheed out of a crested situation. His flashing brand new green shackles and rope finally got some satisfaction. @Niki, based on a few chats exchanged during occasional breaks, greatly enjoyed the explorative nature of the drive, discovering the new landscape as it materialised after each tricky climbing passage. @Javier Lucero led his JK flawlessly, certainly appreciative of his car's great capabilities, especially in this beautiful but deceiving terrain. @Rizwan Waheed had a hard time today, driving constantly in churned sand, quite at the back of the convoy, worsened by an apparently leaking valve (best to have it checked). A few stucks and refusals, (including a tug from @Dodi Syahdar quite early in the drive) where to be expected and are only the demonstration that the ride was all but an easy one today. @Dodi Syahdar has frequently joined my drives recently, and I am quite sure he found today's drive among the most challenging ones, adding new experience and polishing his driving skills further. I often found myself wondering, while leading through some nasty passages, whether I was demanding too much from the poor guys driving those giant trucks at the back, but to my relief they all did well, including @Rob H and @Shehab Alawadhi who both made it across the worst patches of soft sand and the tightest maneuvering spots. @Ale Vallecchi was the hero of the day: with so many stucks and refusals he was all over the place, helping everyone out and fighting himself trhough soft and churned up sand. He certainly deserves a special mention today as he managed an endless number of situations. Once we reached sufficiently up north, we crossed the sabkha and started the 2nd stint of the drive, by far the most spectacular and emotional one for the day. Our route took us south again via the higher grounds on the west side of the sabkha, from where, bordering the edge of those high terraced dunes, the convoy could enjoy a spectacular view, with the sun already quite high. While driving so close to the edge from an elevated position and with such a view out of the window, I felt a great sense of achievement mixed with gratitude to have the chance to lead trhough such an amazing place. As a cherry on our cake, we even met two groups of camels: I took a quick photo, but it doesn't make justice to the beauty of the view from up there: Even when @Abdul Rahman AK got stuck in a treacherous pocket and was in need of being winched out, the whole setting, landscape, and light was spectacular and I guess was worth the waiting for the rest of the convoy. By 9:30am it was clear we were never going to make if for the 3rd and final stint of the drive, the one that was meant to tkae us north again all the way to E102 and then, eventually out in Al Bataeh. It was therefore decided that we would cut our drive short, so we hit the sabkha at the bottom of the high grounds we were driving through, and from the sabkha we quickly made our way out, eventually reaching the same roundabout where we had started our journey earlier in the day. Overall, we drove 40.4km in a total of 4h 40' of which 2h 40' moving and 1h 40' stopped, with a very low moving speed of just 15.1km/h: these data tell a lot about how technical the drive was. Everyone did very well today, and I hope you all enjoyed this drive as much as I did. As the 1st @Carnity drive in Al Bataeh, it will always have a special place in my memories and I'm glad I had you all with me today. After what I've seen today, I think an Extreme Drive in this area will be coming soon.. Stay tuned! Congratulations to all and see you soon on the sand again!

  30. Thanks @Luca Palanca Falsini for an exciting drive to start the day...it was good fun and experience surely added to confidence. Shuwaib and Luca are undoubtedly the best combo for some adrenaline rush.🙂.perhaps we could hv been a bit faster but then it was my first extreme drive so I am not the right person to judge . Thanks @Francois Germishuys for feedback...it's not easy to call a spade A Spade ..that's the only way we learn. Highly appreciate your feedback. At this level we need to be prepared to plan for driver ahead of us and assess accordingly - basics of convoy concept took a bit back step due to same reason @Abu Muhammad mentioned - conscious effort to maintain speed and at times i ended up too close to vehicle that wasn't having it's best day on field. Learning continues. Also must add that as we proceeded, @Thomas Varghese was able to recover well from initial hour of hiccups, takes a lot.of courage to do that, his smooth way of handling tech areas is something to enjoy- skill of the driver over the strength of the vehicle ..kudos to @Thomas Varghese for that. Thanks to the whole team for the lovely drive. @Ilya thanks for tips it's always fun discussing possibilities on Jeep with you.. Hope to see you all soon....

  31. Hi all, sorry I had to leave early, rather safe than sorry, will have the knocking noise checked out at Ford tomorrow. Below my experience today, it wasn't an extreme drive as I hoped, its my opinion, its constructive criticism, use it to improve. If anyone has anything to say about my driving skills and ability to handle my tuck please feel free to put your comments below. @Luca Palanca Falsini good location for an extreme drive, perfect for fast paced extreme drive..... just wish we could get to that extreme level but unfortunately the convoy wasnt able to perform to that level behind you...😢 i can just imagine how frustrating it is to be told wait we have refusal over and over just as soon as you getting that Toyota airborne .... Again an extreme dive like we had the previous week with Lorenzo, an extreme drive with excessive amounts of refusals and few stucks. It seems like some of the guys are still not 100 sure how their cars operate at best, extreme drive is not a drive where you learn how to drive your car, we struggled to climb long dunes which is something that should be easy by now especially if you think you are capable of participating in extreme drives. We did much better through the small difficult more technical dunes which is where problems are usually expected, only a few refusals happening compared to plenty of refusals on the long fast dunes.....🤷🏻 still there are some who take unnecessary unsafe action after they had refusals to get back in convoy to continue not follow previous drive lines into unknown area.... Pop-outs happen but from my point of view at sweep they happened due to fighting gravity and then sliding down the dune to flat/ next dune at which point the tyre pops out. Only @Amir Amiri popout was due to the deep cross tracks which couldn’t really be prevented. a little unfortunate Ive driven with @Ilya few times and your driving is still right at the top! @Abu Muhammadvery well done today, you handled that Toyota beautifully and still one of the best sounding cars in the carnity group!! Only one misjudged crest but nothing serious. You were one of the top drivers today in my opinion 👌🏽 @Amir Amiri your car seem extremely heavy from driving behind you, it looks underpowered (even with that 5.7 hemi) and difficult to drive in the desert. As you said maybe try and get a lighter bumper front end to lose some weight, as ive suggests also use your manual gears when climbing dunes (1st mostly) do not use auto as the kick down causes power and momentum loss thats most of the time why you cant make it over the dunes. @Thomas Varghese you struggled the most today, same as in the previous extreme drive, repetitive refusals and this keeps the convoy back and always causes further complications for the guys following behind, especially if we need to maintain fast pace in the “extreme drive” most of your refusals caused @varunmehndiratta issues behind you and so it affects everyone behind him. @varunmehndiratta driven with you few times, not a bad drive today, just keep more space following the car in front to help keep yourself out if trouble, this was the biggest issue for you today which caused your refusals. Try not to fight gravity, your back end was sliding to far and when it hit the flat patch the tyre just popped off... have a good weekend and see you all at the next drive. ✌🏼

  32. Thanks @Anish S & @Veedooshee once again for todays drive a perfect mix of all for a Fewbie with crossing semi technical area, criss cross, steep climb, very soft patch. I throughly enjoyed and was able to test 4HLC and 2H in different gear and thanks for your tips. Thanks @luis manteconfor being the amazing second lead, you did drive really well throughout drive it was a treat to watch you. Towards the end you had a pop-out in the small pocket which adds to your learning curve which was fixed by @Anish S in no time. @Matt.T did perfect sweep role, keeping the communication going always. Well done in self recovery and hope you enjoyed it. It was unfortunate that you had technical problem, and with your perseverance sorted out on your own. Good to know that you reached home safely. Hope you get it fixed asap. Kudos to @PaoloMaraziti for making sure he reached home safely. @PaoloMaraziti definitely you have improved a lot and you started enjoying that reflected in your drive today. Keep it up. @nihalyou did drive well today, If you maintain safe distance it would have been perfect, nothing to worry I am also improving on it. @Farouq Owdehhope you enjoyed driving today on the churned up sand which would have given you more experience. Over all we had minor refusals which were self recovered and only one assisted recovery which is very good. And special thanks to @Veedoosheefor being copilot and assisting in fixing popout, rerouting me when I went on other side. I thank you all for joining todays drive and enjoying and demonstrating great team effort. Hope to see you all again soon. Have a nice week ahead.
