Heard in 96.7 radio that there is 6K fine and 23 black points for offroading during bad weather. Good decision to call off the drive. Looking forward to next drive.

I acknowledge the cancellation for tomorrow's drive, It is a pity because it is the first time I was to sweep on a Carnity drive, but as you mentioned, there will be more weekends and hopefully more opportunities. Better safe than sorry. Thank you all, and I hope to catch up next weekend.

Pretty sure that would only apply to wadis and flood prone areas.. Forecast around Lisaili at the scheduled drive time shows heavy rain. Doubt there would be fines but it definitely would be dangerous and no fun.. Sunday forecast looks clear though @Islam Soliman any thoughts of rescheduling for Sunday? 😀

Hiiiiii @Gaurav @Vanessa8580 Looking forward to Saturday! Sorry for the delay. I’m driving a sage green 2021 jeep wrangler JL, which has all the requirements. I’ve done one absolute newbie drive with Vanessa I think probably 2 years ago now and that’s the only drive experience which I’ve forgotten. Am an expert side kick/passenger on Carnity drives with @Amr A though ☺️. Can’t wait. thanks Sophie

Heads up: the UAE met department forecasts heavy to very heavy rains for the weekend, and all roads leading to the valleys and mountains will remain closed and fines announced. We will monitor the situation and update on the drive by Saturday afternoon.

I have zero off-roading experience. I have watched the video briefing and excited for the drive on Saturday. I'm bringing along my daughter, Prakriti, for the drive.
