    Hi Rizwan,
What is a good price for a clean low mileage (<70,000 kms) 2014/15 GCC XTerra with Off Road Pack?

If you can find a 2014/15 with less than 70000km in good condition, that is a real gem,

in terms of price its subjective. since its off season, my wild guess is around 45-55k

Thanks everyone for a wonderful way to start the weekend. Being there on time helped us make an early move by 4:45am enjoying a good 25mins of driving in the dark before 🌞 started to reveal itself.

We drove for good just a little less than 5 hrs and because of the early start we didn’t suffer any signs of overheating despite of the many recoveries and very sticky soft sand spots we been through.. all of which were managed extraordinary well with your great self recovery skills or on other situations support from the team with little shoveling or tugs.. no pop outs however which is impressive given this terrain which is another sign for your great maneuvering skills.

It was a fun drive full of actions but zero drama and I hope you also liked the closure after little sweihan triangle.

Below for statistic lovers.. you guys have done a lot there.. hope you liked it.

final words of thanks to the great support team I had today with @Mario Cornejo on great 2nd lead and always supportive @Hisham Masaad and Abdelghani and perfect sweep of @Mehmet Volga . A great word of thanks however goes to the whole convoy for not only the great skills showed but also for jumping to support whenever needed while socially distancing and masks on all times.. thanks @JeromeFJ @Darren Brooke @Ranjan Das @RooRzOn @Niki @Matt.T @Rizwanm2 @Danish Mohammad  and looking forward for driving with you all soon.

  3. after hearing scary messages back to back i have taken below mesures with regards to bank and card.

    1.  temporary blocked my debit cards. i dont withdraw money regularly and its very easy to block and unblock through mobile app. whenever needed i can quickly unblock withdraw and block it again.  Card is fully secured when its temp blocked.

    2.  Temporary block all unused unused credit card. (i should cancel them ASAP)

    3. I do all my purchase with only 1 credit card, and limit is kept just above my monthly expense budget. i use this as tool to control my monthly expenses as well not to overspend.

    4. Transfer excess money or savings to a different bank account with maximum restriction to withdraw.

I dont have a big bank balance to safeguard. 🤑 🤑🤑 but though of sharing it here in case if its useful to someone.

    Dear All,

Yesterday I encountered with a fraudulent transaction clean sweeping my bank balance. I never share pin, otp even with my wife. Where ever I tap in the shop I make sure I do it on my own. Still this incident happened with out even receiving OTP. Bankers say that Visa and Master cards have pre approved vendors for whom OTP is not required. Scammers take advantage if this. Banks don’t take responsibility for this to enhance the security. The only option to protect is to set a maximum transaction limit. Such crapy solution from banks running on high end tech solution. At least not to get scammed again I decided to set a limit and also advised by my friend, will maintain another account just only for shopping and topping up that account only when needed. Thought of sharing this with you all so that you can be aware and protect your hard earned money and have peace of mind rather than calling banks and visiting police station to recovery the money.

sad to hear this. Wish you all the best to get your money back soon.

BTW may i know which bank it was.

You could well be onto something re the 10mm thick skid plate, mine is definitely no longer smooth and flat but somewhat concave from the amount of ridges it’s battered down

Exactly even my skidplate was about half inch concaved after  couple of months off roading. I suggest to get it inspected on ur next service, if its too much dented it might touch the radiator.

That’s why I was considering the lift too as I really need to push it on the ridges . But like you, I would never remove the skid plate or go for a thinner one due to the protection it offers

Better to know ur also on same page here. I guess about 1 inch lift would make big difference in ridge riding.  So can we do a lift only in front without messing around the  rear not sure how it will effect the handling.

  6. With regards to subject matter. Here is what i have to say or whine about my Xterra.

    1. Lately i feel like my rear suspension is bottoming out very often. Specially on fast pace or Extreme drives. But if there are 2 passenger at back it will bottom out even on road hump. If i keep on driving with saggy rear suspension will it damage my chassis ?   when search in some forums this is a common issue with Xterra's and most people seems to recommend add a leaf to rear to make it bit stronger and less saggy.

    2.   10mm front skid plate is too low for some ridge riding. Sometimes i feel like it slowdown the car as im flattening all the ridges.  but i dont want to change the skid plate im amazed how much it protect my car. hence thinking of a small lift (maybe a spacer lift) in front suspension to compensate ridge riding.

Dear Xterrian and experts in carnity family, what is your thoughts and recommendations on this.

    @Foxtrot Oscar  @Emmanuel @Chaitanya D @M.Seidam @Nivin @sertac @Thomas Varghese @Janarthan

There are loads of Xterra owners here, Please feel free to tag them along.

It’s gorgeous clip. Download Garmin VIRB application, and open this clip. You might be able to add some cool gauges. I was not successful becauseI think I recorded at full 2.7k, which is not supported perhaps.

Okay. thats interesting to know. will try it.
