congratulations and welcome to Xterra gang, @ZULFIKHAR NAIYAR.
very good choice 2014 offroad version means you are unstoppable from now on.. 😁
im afraid we are not allowed to mention specific garages here. as @M.Seidam any popular off road garage would do.
if you join Xterra mafia UAE facebook or watsapp group you will get more info.

It was pleasure to meet you my friend @M.Seidamtoday morning, looks like you had an exiting drive today morning,
I think you had a surprise stuck over there with your nose dive. and you might have even more surprised when you stick your shovel to that hard sand. i felt like we are shoveling some wet concrete today morning, 🤪

its great to meet bunch of new faces with smile and enthusiasm on sunday morning, Also i had pleasure to meet @Frederic new desert companion. it was real unicorn, 👍
everybody managed very well today. unsurprisingly the sand was much forgiving due to the dampness. hope to see you all regularly on coming weekends.
Have a nice week ahead, 👍

Thank you for the quick feedback.. just curious if the diff lock can be installed at a later stage? If its a possibility!
as fred said aftermarket lockers can be added, or you can swap to offroad version rear diff, but offroad and non offroad differential ratios are different so you need to change off road front diff also along with it.
so overall its no brainer to convert non offroad to offroad, its more costly than buying offroad version.
the fog light is an easy addon. most never model extras will have the wiring done inside fog light space you just need to install the light and switch.

Hi,
I'm new to the club and currently on the lookout for a good off-road vehicle. I'd shortlisted on the Patrol Y62, but I've come across a decent Xterra which I've my mind set on.
Needed some expert advise on what to look out for and the expected price.
I've test driven and it was very smooth, well maintained with all service records intact and great condition.. Its 2015 basic model, around 77k driven.. 2nd owner purchased from Alfuttaim used cars in 2018..
However, its a standard 4x4 variant..
Is 45k a good price for this vehicle?
@Mukundan Naircan you plz share your feedback as well.. we'd met in one of AN drives a while ago
this is the vehicle I'm talking about -
Thanks in advance
looks really nice, if its driven only 70k shud be in very good condition. but still get it checked from a trusted mechanic for a piece of mind. even i fee like 45k is very steep for basic version. compared to full option offroad version not having rear diff lock is not a deal breaker but it make self recovery like walk in the park. also basic option might not have cruise control which is another convenient i would not want to miss out. rest is pretty much same in all the variants.
i have 2012 offroad version and i enjoy it everyday.
Good luck with your purchase .

@varunmehndiratta There are 3 routes showing for me approx similar drive time. i would personally take E11 and then E22, can drive max at 160km/h. SO it will not take more than 2hrs to reach meeting point + 15min for fuelling.
So its totally doable without camping, factoring you had good rest night before.

a. Any idea on time it takes for this new type of test AD has initiated since 19th Dec? Just to formulate the drive plan from Dubai to location..
I drove to Al Ain last weekend it took literally half a minute. lower windows, a guys scan face through mobile phone, and yallah...
of course if you detect positive you might have to spend another 30 min to do PCR test
