  • Gaurav changed the title to Afternoon Fewbie Desert Drive - Lisaili - Dubai - 8 Dec 2021

Dear friends

@Gregory , @Tareck and @munkybizness

I am looking forward to meet you tomorrow at 15:30 sharp not later please so we can boost the entire daylight in the coming fun taking in consideration the short strong convoy. When you follow google map please don’t get confused as the meeting point is exactly to the right after you enter the gate , bit far from the private area .

image.jpeg.254a4b79fb9be7768a3d6783ee1498a4.jpeg

we will take it as far as it gets to the south in day light crossing several terrains from medium to high range dunes , sabkha , patches of technical strips connecting terrains till the sunset 🌅 after which the approach and the pace will become slightly slower and the distance between cars bit closer enough for the adequate reaction time . If all goes the way we want we can inflate in last exit as plan A . Alternatively the shorter route will be back to murqab via the secret route 😅

P.S please check your radios in the morning before leaving to work 😊

cheers 🙏

Mohamed

Below is the convoy order

@M.Seidam looking forward for today's drive, I have a question as all of us are FB+ can we change the drive from Fewbie to Fewbie+ level as it can be counted for us?

I was thinking exactly the same..

While I am not sure if it can be changed now as the RSVP still open but definitely if we remain 4 of us or a last minute same level or higher joins I can pump it to that level .

Drive report

What a drive ! It was epic and absolute pleasure today with @Gregory , @Tareckand @munkybizness excellent driving . You all did more than super great not only the driving part which truly was impressive but everybody compliance with the safety and convoy rules which kept the drive nonstop except for two quick breaks we crossed along Lisaili across part of murqab all the way south practicing endless side sloping , ridge riding and criss crossing and yet technical sections especially the part before the pylon track which was super tight and not a single issue . Our shovels and ropes today left safe inside our truck while we had a moment of taking some pictures at the DCT start point for memory , felt different ✌️image.jpeg.0aae8d44ed2e29a954dead8286c86c93.jpeg

The dark part was in Qudra on purpose ; a place that I better know it’s terrain . That was adrenaline pumping half an hour  before we looped back on time reaching last Exit .
throughout the drive everybody displayed  solid safe driving , excellent communication and appropriate reaction time whenever I had to give some instructions to my second lead .

thank you all for this amazing outing and till next time take care drive safe

cheers

Mohamed
