Little more progress. As all projects go, it's turning out twice as big as predicted, much higher cost, and plenty of unforseen problems. Have to remember the journey is more rewarding then the destination at the end of the day. Biggest downside so far is I had to turn over much of the work to a shop since the original US spec control module wouldn't work on my 99 GCC spec. This is over my knowledge level so they get to do the work and I get to pay and try to not stand over there shoulder being a bother. Haha

I'd signed up for this as I'd completed the needed no. of drives and hoping to be promoted to Fewbie this week. But since not yet received, What do you suggest? Should I keep waiting as we're left with another day if that could happen? Or withdraw the RSVP here? Thanks..

Been stuck in US since November but finally back just in time for nice weather. Parts made it through checked luggage and customs :). WI'll start adding parts next week. So far only had time to add gauges to A pillar. Came out pretty good with some left over paint and heat gun. AFR and WM injection gauges for pending Supercharger install. Start of a long project! Trying to keep stock look as much as possible. Gauges messed it up but have to have them.

Hi Gourav, good morning I have Niassan Patrol (with off-road bumper at front) fitted with front & back tow point. I have only one time desert drive experience I do have tire pressure gauge and deflator, but no compressor. Planning to get it before drive looking forward

Good morning everyone. Thanks for signing up for the drive. Since the names are almost the same we had in last Badayer drive, thought will give you an idea about whats expected, for you to reconsider your joining or not. Mahafiz is not Badayer, at least the first half of the drive. It is more of mix of technical and bowls where side sloping is nice to do. Second half where we reach Al Faya, will more of climbing and maneuvering, but nothing like badayer. At the end, it is all fun, and desert will be always good to visit.
