Apologies for the late RSVP.

RSVP is now closed for this drive.
@Gregory Perkin will be our second lead tomorrow.
@Matti Brockman - Center forward - will be trained for tow rope recovery tomorrow.
@Nacho and @E.C. TAN will be our sweep.
We will have plenty of easy level newbie track and dunes for newbies along with plenty of play time for fewbies during the route and towards the end at Pink Rock.
No one is allowed to step out of their cars without my or Matti's permission with a legitimate reason. We all need to respect COVID precautions at all times, especially while inflating and deflating tires - The most.
This is just a desert drive and let's just keep it like that - WITHOUT any gathering or stepping out for photos and video.
Radio channel 1 will be used for all communication (446.006 Mhz). but still program all 5 channels.
Please make sure you have your radio programmed as per our Walkie Talkie tutorial.

Ahh yes my kind of man. Simple yet effective Mcgyver ideas.
P.S : it's zip ties not ziplock. Zip lock are the transparent bags used to keep sandwiches fresh! Lol
Yea, typo error. 😅

FYI, I just ziplock the flag pole (a fishing rod) to the rear gate handle.

Another great report by @Wrangeld. Love it.
It was an amazing opportunity for me to be 2nd lead for the first time. I was really excited and pressured at the same time. @Gauravcould see me grinning like a Cheshire cat on his rearview mirror.
Kudos to our 3 absolute newbies @Nikola Bozovic @George Francisand @Carlos Fernandez who tackled the dunes well.
Thanks to @Luca Bregni (he, he) we had an additional drive to Badayer and check out the dunes there with a short night drive thrown in.

See you guys tomorrow.
Remember, communication is very important.
And watch your temp gauge.

This is a very interesting topic to discuss. As a newbie, I like to share what I had done and learnt.
1. The last 2 drives, I have deflated to 14 p.s.i. as oppose to 15 p.s.i. previously. I am surprised that 1 p.s.i. made so much difference in getting me out of potential refusals. At the end of the drive, before inflating, I checked and found that the pressure was up to 15 p.s.i. (this is evening drive, so the outside temp is cooler).
2. The last weekend drive, after we dropped off the Tuareg and Gaurav took us to more technical terrains, I saw my temp gauge pointer, a little bit over the centre. (It always has been in the centre for previous drives.)
As a precaution, I turned off my a.c., in a short while the pointer was back to the centre. I continued the rest of the drive without a.c. till when we were near the cycling track.
FYI, I am driving a Jeep Wrangler JK 2016, without any modifications.

Awesome drive today guys. Thanks again to @Gaurav for leading us to a newbie drive with a fewbie feel. Thanks to @Ale Vallecchiand @Wrangeldtoo.
I am impressed with the VW Touareg @amro elshafey
Just to share an observation. Communication is very important during the drives. I believe that is determines the safety of everyone. It is therefore important that if anyone is in any difficulty please communicate. This also includes, if you decide to pull over or pull out from the convoy.
Thanks guys again for the great afternoon.

@syed salman raza and @amro elshafey please share your vehicle details and your offroad experience (if any).
@syed salman raza, @amro elshafey and @Mehmet Volga please go thru the newbie briefing video posted on the first page of this drive thread for "YOUR AND YOUR VEHICLE SAFETY"
Keep your distance when deflating and do not "gather" upon arrival. Deflate your vehicle and step back in the car so we can convey the briefing over the radio. Whenever you need help to deflate, announce on the radio and a senior or marshal will come to assist.
Make sure you have a deflator, flag, and your radio. We will be ending nearby the gas station, so a compressor is optional.
See you tomorrow !
Radio Channel
Please make sure your radio is charged and set to this frequency when you arrive at the deflation point.
We will be using the radio Channel 1 - 446.006'25, so please make sure your radio is set to this frequency.
If anyone dont know how to set it, please go through this instruction.

Hey all
It was great drive after long time ! Few photos attached.
Special thanks to Gaurav and to the other marshal in white Land Cruiser ! Sorry, I didn't catch your name.
Your advises when we got refusals ( few of them 😁) were really good from learning point of looking. Also the hints regarding tiptronic use proved to be very useful !
Great work, guys !
