Actually getting stuck especially in the first two steps of our ladder , I would say , is necessary and unavoidable opportunity to learn it , ( I am not saying to surrender to it easily ) but baby dunes and narrow passages in between that even for LWB vehicles can be challenging , I would admire the energy and welling of the heavy long base vehicles drivers like @Abu Muhammad, accepting the more challenge 💪. I wished to be driving with you in qudra this Friday  ( my favorite spot ) , but in the next weeks after Liwa is over I will . God well

best of luck and cheers all

@Wrangeld catch you soon  dear friend with much thrill and technical soft baby dunes

Yes this is it Dr @Mohamed Seidam Thank you. All we can do is to try our best with positive anergy and lots of patient.

Liwa would be a good unforgettable first experience hopefully. It would be pleasure seeing you there.

Wednesday evening and we have had a few drop outs with spaces filled by our waitlist. I am really pleased we are able to fill the spaces now and that the waitlisted members get the chance to drive.

In looking at the vehicles that we have on the convoy there's a lot of mega vehicles (i.e. BIG) which has me questioning my original plan of driving into technical dunes as a part of the proposed route.

@Francois Germishuys, @Mahmoud Asar @Abu Muhammad please let us know your level of confidence of driving through small technical dunes. I have said it before that the ability to navigate through these small tightly packed dunes is an essential 4x4 skill, but it does not have the adrenalin of high and wide dunes [and let's face it, getting through without problems is more difficult].

Hopefully you are all up for that challenge. If not, get yourself ready for it!

More to follow tomorrow, with the convoy numbering and the radio channel.

See you soon in the sand.

Thank you @Wrangeld I am highly confident with driving through small technical dunes but this doesn’t mean I may not get stock 😂 as this is the only way to practice, progress and learn so I like new challenges and would appreciated.

@Abu Muhammad, I would suggest you get your steering issue/noise checked/fixed by the time you join this drive as some dunes here can get quite tall.

Thank you for the reminder @Chaitanya D yes We already checked with mechanic. They didn’t find any physical issues, I explained that we could hear the noise while stuck on the sand specially when turning left and right. I also told them that after the noise  I checked the steering oil level which was low and I toped up till “Hot Max” so maybe that could have solve the issue.

@Mohamed Seidam it was nice to catch up with you today in Qudra. I really appreciate your persistence in posting these videos every week. However it would be nice if we had more people shooting such educational videos.

@Abu Muhammad it's good to see your vehicle in action, however it seems to be looking taller from our initial tutorial in Mahafiz area.

Nice to hear from you @Rahimdad, yes you’re right it had some changes and still going through MOD steps. You know I love Tundra but it’s small for family so my choice had to be Sequoia and I try to make it Sequndra lol.

After watching the sun come up, the convoy was moving along the track and across the cycle track to find the dunes waiting for us.

We started of slowly and everybody was doing great; trying to pick up the speed and finding places to do some criss crossing, we soon got the first refusals and a few stucks. With @Tamas Hoffmann as centre forward and @Kalahari as sweep most issues were quickly resolved until we had a bit more challenging stuck with @Goutam in a soft pocket and Tamas in a difficult position. Kalahari managed to get them both out, without getting himself stuck. My second lead was @Mohamed Seidam and you did well; keeping the right amount of distance and holding position to allow me to scout the area when necessary. @Sajit Modiyilyou must have done well because I hardly heard you and you were always right on Mohameds tail. @Nizam Deen you drove well, but try to read the drive thread before the drive, so you know where to go and what channel we are on. @Abu Muhammad apart from ending up in a soft pocket once, you manage the beast quite well as far as I could tell. @Goutam @Karthik Krishnakumar, @Neale Faulkner and @Craig Finlayson you all did well, but I think it helps when Jeeps are following a Jeep😉. Although I understand the attraction between Jeeps, it is wise to keep some distance. Hope the yellow Jeeps sorted things out and the damage is small. @Kalahari  kept a great overview of the whole convoy, always positioning yourself in the best spot. Great teamwork and thank you all for the support and patience.See you again soon

Thank you @Jeepie for the wonderful and calm drive also special thanks to  @Tamas Hoffmann, @Kalahari for great help and supports and everyone else for their great teamwork. As always it was pleasure driving with you guys, see you soon.

I want to thank @Ale Vallecchi for the incredible route and especially @Foxtrot Oscar for the last part (it was extremely fun).  I enjoyed very much the pace and the zigzag in the final dunes.

I also want to mention that it was noticeable the improvement during the ride for some of my comrades in the way they tackled the dunes and managed to avoid getting stuck.  I enjoyed very much helping those that had issues and got stuck (no shame on that), but in the second leg there were few of those.  Special mention to @Abu Muhammad that was way more confident in the end than it looked in the beginning (good work).

I only regret that being by myself I couldn't take as many pictures as I would have liked it.  Next time I will try to attach a GoPro to my jeep (jajaja)

    See you soon

Yes indeed it was pleasure driving with @Ale Vallecchi and everyone. Thank you @Alexander Alcala for the help and advise.
