Thank you @Ale VallecchiVallecchi for a great drive as always, I enjoyed the technical areas a lot and tried out my new high profile tires.
Thank you for the sweep @Shaaz Sha
Always nice to hear the raptor at the back @Russyou were lighting up the track for me towards the end of the drive.
Pleasure meeting the rest of the convoy as well!

This sounds like a lot of fun! Sad to miss it as my little one is too young even to ride on a newbie! Looking forward to join next time

Whatever you do, stay away from replica wheels, as they will pop out and difficult to fix those pop outs that will frustrate you more to use spare tire on most pop outs.
Stay with OEM (new or used) or branded good quality wheels for better peace of mind.
Thank you @Gauravwill make sure to do that

Thank you very much @Lorenzo Candelpergherso that means I need to change the rims. I will start looking for those. Any leads where I should look? @Srikumarrecomended hitting the scrap yards for original ones.

This is quite an informative thread! I need to change tires on my 2013 y62 as well. I'm required to get high profile tyres to maintain my intermediate status.
Currently I'm running 275/60R20 tires. Please bear with my ignorance as I'm building my knowledge about tires.
Would I be able to purchase high profile tyres for my existing rims? I understand from the thread that geolanders are the way to go. Ideally I would like to stick with my existing rims.

While driving to AD today, there was an air of excitement since it was a new area for me. I could see silhouettes of dunes in the far distance that amazed me as I parked my vehicle at the meeting point. After the briefing and moving towards our 4x4s I saw @JeromeFJand @Rawadhaving a quick chat, I asked Jerome the same question, how different is this place? He replied, you will learn to drive in the desert all over again.
That basically sums up the drive today, it was a complete new experience for which I thank @Srikumar
Happy to have played a part in christening @Russ''s Jack. May the "Patrol" come to the rescue of many Patrols and their pop outs.
Thank you for second lead @varunmehndiratta. It was great to see @Chinthaka Ruwanand @Ilyaas well!
See you all soon!

Well noted @Srikumar
I didn't know about this gate business and last time I was in AD I stood in front of the gate looking at the convoy and thinking how on earth will I get in!

Many many congratulations @Islam Solimanvery well deserved. It is always such a pleasure driving with you. I always appreciate your calm nature and support on the drive. Just today I made a mistake and didn't follow your exact instructions yet you always make the other person feel at ease and help understand. Thank you for that!

Dear @Islam Soliman @JeromeFJ @Zixuan Huang - Charlie @Darren Brooke @Ehab @Alex RaptorRaptor. @Chris WingWing @Nihal17 @Danish Mohammad @varunmehndiratta my apologies to you all. Unfortunately I will not be able to make it to the drive that I was looking forward to the entire week. Unfortunately, I got caught up with some engagements that lasted too long for me to be able to be fresh and focused for the drive.

Thank you @Wrangeldfor such a nice drive and captivating drive report. I have come a long way since my early days and I learn new things on each drive. I still go sideways sometimes haha This was reminded to me by the calm yet assertive feedback today from @Ale VallecchiwhenVallecchi when I was countersteering. Am I correct to observe that we need a higher speed on a slope especially for heavier y62s in order not to side slip?
Today was my tenth Fewbie plus and I look forward to my intermediate promotion.
Thank you @Hisham Masaadfor all your help and thank you to the rest of the convoy. Some people I met for the first time.
