Wow!! I had high hopes for this drive, but it exceeded all expectations. Despite the unfortunate incident in the morning, the afternoon stretch was the best stint of fast pace driving I have ever had in the desert. The pace and terrain required razor sharp focus and everyone rose to the occasion and drove out of their skins. The terrain was absolutely incredible and well worth the long drive there and back.
@Srikumaryour drives never disappoint, but this goes down as best Carnity drive i have been apart of. You also demonstrated great leadership when dealing with the two difficult incidents we encountered.
@ZedI hope you got back home safely and haven't been left too shaken.
@ASAD. likewise, hope you got back ok and the car is repaired quickly. Absolutely superb effort as 2L.
It was pleasure driving with you all and hope to see you all soon.
I'll post some pics in the gallery shortly.

@Warren Flaysad to hear you will be leaving UAE shortly. Enjoyed driving with you. Always plenty of banter, especially when we had @Mohamad Anwer on the drives who liked to stoke the Pajero /Toyota rivalry!! Your beige (oh... I mean gold! ;)) Pajero is a little weapon. I am sure it will find a good home.

Out of interest, is there any reason why this isn't practiced any more within @Carnity? Although in my time with Carnity I have only seen two failures (one was the tow point shearing off on a car being tugged, resulting in a near miss, and the other more recent one was the soft shackle breaking on the car that was tugging, resulting in considerable damage to the car being tugged from the recoiling kinetic rope) this additional safety measure would have prevented both incidents.

@JeromeFJthank you again for yesterday's drive. It's not an easy task to lead through this terrain but you did a superb job. Everyone drove flawlessly and the afternoon segment was particularly enjoyable as the convoy gelled and we were able to pick up the pace.
To experience this type of pristine, untouched environment was exactly why I took up off-roading in the first place and I look forward to more Carnity adventures in Liwa this winter.
Pics uploaded onto gallery page.
Hope everyone got back safely. I was absolutely destroyed last night when I got back!

The dealer has sent the damaged tire to yokohama for warranty claim, i am yet to receive a feedback. I have used it for about 7 months now, obviously i tried to pin it on the dealer that its the issue with the tire so lets see how it goes. But ive seen this a general issue with the beadgrips, like i said u may want to upgrade wheels for other reasons looks, offset etc. but believe me pop-outs are way easier to fix on non-beadgrip wheels 😊
@ASAD. sorry to hear you are having so many issues with your bead grip tyres. As you know, I have identical rims and have been really pleased with them. @Rob S and @Karthik Raptor are equally as pleased with them I believe. Rob is running with Geolanders, whereas I am running with Coopers and Karthik is running with BF's. So could very well be down to the set of geolanders you got.

@Rizwanm2 thank you for this morning's drive. It was a lot of fun, especially with the small convoy. I enjoyed the area, which I hadn't been to before. Such bad luck that the shackle broke.
@Haitham Khattab @Beide Worku nice meeting you both for the first time. Well driven and look forward to driving with you next week in Liwa.
@Alexanderrr good to see you again buddy. Until next time.

Hi @Tom B yes I did a couple of scenic drives last year that included wadis as well. The only difficulty is the convoy size as you can’t really enter the narrow wadis with a 15 car convoy, but I know a couple very nice ones that are scheduled for the winter.
That sounds great. Look forward to them.

Hi @Rizwanm2. Very much looking forward to this. As it stands, are you still planning to go ahead with the drive given we are only 3, plus yourself? (Hoping so.... because with such a small convoy, in this area, it will be a blast!).

Great write-up @Frederic. Searching through Carnity pages some time back I noticed that the club used to do Wadi drives every now and again. Is there plan this winter to organise one or two Wadi drives? I have done the likes of Shawka, but was hoping Carnity might try and organise one or two drives in more remote /less visited areas.

Thanks @M.Seidam, very enjoyable drive this morning. Unlike all my previous drives in Sweihan, which involved hopping from one big bowl to another, this terrain offered a bit of everything, including quite a tight technical area.
The whole convoy drove superbly resulting in minimal stoppage time and maximum enjoyment!
See you all soon.
