Mario Cornejo
@Frederic this is a fantastic overland themed drive, I dare to call it a signature one in case no other club would have thought or done it before Carnity. Attaining approvals from my MoI and her technical advisors will be as challenging as the drive itself. If I am not able to make it, I won't even dare reading the post drive reports as it will be without doubt an epic drive and will hurt knowing all that was missed. Fingers crossed! 2 1 2
Srikumar
Thanks Fredy for arranging this long awaited drive. I will be joining along with my co-pilot. Looking forward to a proper overlanding trip along with camping. Going to be exciting 4 1

Only the universe perhaps... until now i had only one worry - how get permission for this drive; you have added the hidden egg on top - this will be one epic drive 4

M.Seidam
Ohh dear Fred @Frederic that’s a real fantastic one to prepare for . Personally if I get away after a massive “wasta “ mostly would be at a penalty of hibernating at home not even seeing Qudra for a long time 🤣… honestly wish to be part of that .at least as the trip doc ( could be convincing 😅), let’s see 😄 3

My plan is to drive straight to the meeting point in the early morning. If you fancy camping the night before nearby Ghayati, perhaps this could be a possible location: https://goo.gl/maps/W6gHY1KMU8Zfd2Y88 Another option is the hotel nearby: https://goo.gl/maps/ampoet5dhr8GBx8YA 1 "Go as far as you can see; once you get there, you'll be able to see further." munkybizness
Given the 5am start and that we'll be doing the first 53 km from Ghayati on tarmac, I think it's probably wise to not venture too far in for camping and inflate again in the morning. I'm thinking I'll just park on a side-street and catch some zzzs in the car. Also, given this epic journey, I think it's only fit we have an epic soundtrack to fill our cabins.
