Quite a smart place to hold the challenge. New for almost all of the participants. except for a handful who have a glimpse of the terrain, so it will be a nice challenge for most. I would have said that the terrain is mostly soft, but that statement isn't going to be valid as of now. Great Job on #DCT2023!

Dear @Gaurav is there also a possibility to pay for the camp meeting only, to be there like a visitor to witness the winner of the trophy and enjoy the night with Carnity members?

Thanks @Rizwanm2 for raising the question to drive along blue line:

• Do not drive parallel to the blue border within 1 km buffer zone at any time.

We have updated same on the announcement post, to stay away from blue line with a minimum gap of 1 km buffer, as many places have buried old fencing, debris or irregular farm fences that can damage cars severely.

Thanks @Dan S we will surely consider this for next event and plan it in advance. For this time it was a tight spot to get 50 pax availability with Emirates Tour campsite.

Good morning guys.

We wanted to provide a bit more clarification on the waypoint scoring itself. Please see below:

1. There will be no flags or visual items at the waypoints.

2. The aim is to have ALL your team members get as close as possible to each waypoint, so make sure to zoom in on your GPS systems to the maximum. After the event we will analyze all your tracks and see if all team members have reached within the allowed 15m range.

Example below:

* The black track has reached very closely to the waypoint: Score will be granted.

* The red track stayed too far away from the waypoint: Score will not be granted.

We are proud to announce the winners of this year's Desert Champion Trophy!💪

With ALL teams arriving back at the starting point before their cut-off time, and with no incidents, we are thankful for the responsible leads @Icon Auto@Wissam@GauravSoni@Looper@Davie Chase@Asif Hussain@Zed@Rizwanm2 for taking on this challenge and for leading their teams safe and well throughout the treacherous dunes of Razeen.

This adventure was not just for the fastest or the most aggressive drivers; It was a tactical game where teamwork, resilience, and mental focus was crucial. Hats off to the entire teams for rising up to the challenge!👏

I want to thank the entire support team as well for helping out with the various duties and tasks which made this event a success!
