@Hisham Masaadi would like to thank you for an amazing drive in the initial part. The drive was going really awesome but we had to stop the fun as or brother @Ranjan Dascar decided to give up. As I am also Jeep owner I learnt a lot from this drive. Thank you @Islam Soliman Your presence made such a difference in the drive and also in the recovery. If it was not for you I am sure @Hisham Masaadwould have a big challenge specially keeping an eye on @Ranjan Das car from behind.@Karthik Raptor good job. The beauty you have easily took care of the jeep. @MMansoorif it was not with your past experience finding the cord it would have definitely taken some amount of time. @Waqas Parvez after Islam went ahead you took great care of the sweep and tugging out @Simon Dawoodis a right way. @Mohamad Anwer the feeling you had initially about something wrong going to happen even I had it where I fell sick in between the drive. Though I wanted to leave early I could not leave my brothers and managed to have lot of liquid to keep me going. @ASAD. @Imteeaz @Simon Dawood and everyone inshallah we will conquer Shuwaib soon . Dear all, First of all thank you all for the support you provided to me today, i felt zero pressure because of that. Truly when the ambulance guys checked my BP it was 120/80 . I met most of you for the first time today and I already felt like with family who care. The good news, i have finally managed to get the car out by driving it to outside , yes i drove through the dunes with a smashed /half pajero in the dark night , to be honest it was as tough as the roll-over experience, then i managed to put it on recovery after police has given the report finally. Thanks again to everyone, Special thanks to @Benjamin for driving me home at noon, @Brette for staying back in person and over the phone @Gaurav for support over the phone to make sure all going well wish you all safe drive and definitely i will see you again on sand soon (not sure what car this time will be

I got back to the sands after a long time and as usual learned a lot, only this time not so much about driving as on how to cope with the unexpected. @Brette showed how to remain calm and think clearly to get the important things done, great lesson in leadership. @Murad Hamed showed how to keep a sense of humor and a level temperament after something which would leave most in shock (did you really drive that car to the road later - thats unbelievable man). @Fabien Monleau , @Benjamin and @TT_Dubai showed how to do perfect support with infinite patience. Overall, the teamwork and camaraderie all around showed why @Carnity is such a good club. Looking forward to the next ride with you folks.

Amazing drive team. Since the start, @Hisham Masaad was in the mood to push us to our (and cars) limits; I was struggling to keep up with his pace, and had to forget everything and keep my foot on the gas pedal to be able to climb these dunes. The coffee break + dates (not planned) was most welcome. I wish we could have more breaks like this in the future drives as it helped to have all of us getting together and really enjoying a break. @Ranjan Das mate I hope that you will be able to get the Jeep fixed in no time; I understood that you were stressing out with the car - keep the faith mate. I am sure that you will back in the sand in no time. @Karthik Raptor mate you show-cased the power of the V8 while pulling the Jeep through the dunes. I am not sure what we could have done without you. BIG THANKS buddy. @Islam Soliman good to see you again mate. I felt that your presence and calm provided all of us that extra peace of mind and direction while WE were all trying to find the shortest and easiest way out of the dunes to get to the meeting point for Ranjan to be able to call the recovery truck. Your coordination and understanding with @Hisham Masaad was great. @Waqas Parvez @ASAD. @Mohamad Anwer @Simon Dawood @Sunil Mathew @MMansoor @Abdelghani @Vaibhav you all contributed to an amazing drive, which was short but sweet. I am looking forward to drive with the same team in the near future. Finally - it made me realised that we all leave our family in the morning (or afternoon) to come and enjoy a bit of sand and dunes, and that sometimes things do not go as planned. The incident with @Ranjan Das car was a reminder for all of us that we should keep taking this as a hobby between buddies, and help each other when and where we can. We all got together as a TEAM, and each of ones contributed positively in every way to this incident. @Carnity is not only a club for me (and for us); it is an opportunity for us to get together on a regular basis, enjoy a couple of dunes, and then sit down and enjoy a coffee. On a side note, I managed to get my RTA approval today. I had to replace the valvetronic with the stock muffler yesterday. As I am writing, the garage is busy putting back the new muffler. Well done @Fabien Monleau you truly getting hang of the support team role and proactively understand its real meaning. Keep it up. Well done @Benjamin, although new to carnity family, but truly appreciate your support and being there when needed the most. A true definition of team-player for this team sport. @Murad Hamed, I am very glad to read your post. And I am looking to driving with you in the desert. I take this opportunity to thank @Brette. Certainly and despite a lot of stress inside, you did not show it and you managed very well this difficult situation. It reminds all of us that off-roading remains a mechanic sport with risks. I thank @Benjaminfor his support to @Murad Hamedtlll the end of this long journey. I thank all the group for their calm and their solidarity to go through this incident. I am looking to driving again with all of you. Have a nice week. And see you again when I am back from Africa, at the end of the month 😉

Although sad to hear about the roll today, but really glad and relieved that you were unharmed after seeing such big damage to your car. For insurance, after seeing a tall claim, they might make some additional delay, so be very firm with them from the beginning and do a close follow-up. In some cases I have heard they take 2-3 months and harass owners with so many different reports, revisit and third-party investigations. Technically they don't need anything other than cops report, so tell them to speak to cops if they wanna add any additional twist, it really works.

Was a great drive for sure @Hisham Masaad, at least for the time we "drove". It was picking up pace and getting more interesting when the unfortunate break down happened. It was an IM baptism for my Fortuner, and a welcome back to IM drives for me after a gap of almost 4 months as i was selling my yellow Jeep. Coincidentally , my last IM in June was in the same area with @Islam Soliman - welcome back to the sands. Yesterday , undoubtedly, was a day which we were blessed to witness the exemplary leadership and quick thinking from our marshals @Hisham Masaad and @Islam Soliman , planning and executing the tough tow recovery through the path of least resistance to get to tarmac as safely as possible. Not to mention the skill, grit and willingness displayed by @Karthik Raptor - kudos man, really admirable!! @Imteeaz - great SL, and was nice following you @MMansoor , @Simon Dawood, @ASAD., @Mohamad Anwer @Vaibhav - good to see you guys @Waqas Parvez - great support and nicely executed tug, as you said - expecting Shuwaib "reloaded, soon from Hisham, although i was not part of the previous episode Hope @Ranjan Das and the grey wrangler comes out unscathed and expecting to drive with you next week itself!! Being optimistic 👍🤘

exceptional leadership from @Hisham Masaad and @Islam Soliman today, thank you guys. U really showed us all how it should be done. the drive had all the makings of Hisham's typical madmax drive until we had the unfortunate event of Ranjan's car breakdown. @Ranjan Das hope its not too much of an issue and you have it up and running in quick time. @Karthik Raptor special thanks to you buddy, we needed all that power of your Jimny today 😂. I know how much time it takes to take a camera on the drive and to do all the post processing in Lightroom. Kudos buddy you’ve been consistently delivering fantastic shots of all our cars 🙏

Little late to write the post drive comments, but wanted to finish uploading photos to the gallery and there were so many to choose from, it was a daunting task. I took upon a Lightroom catalogue reorganisation exercise which took more time than I was expecting. Anyways.... @Srikumar's drive at Sweihan drive post meant I have to dust my trusty old alarm bell to ring on time to play the fastest finger fist on Monday evening. All work is one side and finding a place on the drive is on the other. it has to be done irrespective. Thanks a lot for all who joined this early morning drive that was a strain on everyone and their cars no doubt but we are longing for more for sure.

@Murad Hamed Al7amdulellah 3lala salamtak ; Thank God you are safe and intact . We haven’t met yet and inshallah I hope to meet you and you are back stronger than ever God well . I have heard stories of such incidents and personally I have seen this ( witnessed it ) happened in front of my eyes to the dearest person to me in the past many years back. They moved on and made it an additional big step to jump forward and continue and inshallah I am sure you will do . @Fabien Monleau well done and thank you for the true spirit of support which only comes out in the hardest moments when most needed. same goes for @Benjamin Very much appreciated your standing by till the front door of Murad 🙏 @Brette you have nerves of steel and a strong heart . As all drivers mentioned we hope and wish everything gets resolved soon and that all is well. @Brette as Mike mentioned the immediate mobilisation to recover the Pajero and exit was all executed with precision. Thank you. I love Badayer and I have been in various drives but I have never seen the sand conditions like what we had this morning. Everyone coped really well. @Fabien Monleau great proactive support from the back. I love sweeping as you can normally have a chilled ride and explore different lines but that was certainly not the case for you today! Thank you for all your help!

@Ranjan DasHopefully your car problem is a minor one. Since wranglers are known for their dependability and yours was specifically maintained by trading enterprises, it was unexpected. @Hisham Masaadreload had never been reloaded with back-to-back breakdowns, so we need to figure out the code and finish the drive successfully 😀

Thank you so much @Rizwanm2 for the great drive today. Faqa is such a beautiful area with a magnificent scenery. I really enjoyed it and thanks for the second lead opportunity. The drive was unique with a unexpected damp sand on the start, followed by exciting side sloping & ridge riding, ending with Technical dunes & speed run on Sabkhas. The terrain for the drive should be one that allows high speeds, such as open long-range dunes, perhaps separated by a few small sabkhas. Concentration will be a must, as what we may not experience in terms if complex maneuvers will be more than made up for by the fast pace that the drive seeks to maintain. Thank you all for joining the drive. All made it almost on time, and got ready for a quick brief. Immediately started our adventure climbing dunes next to the meeting point, and moved through Techincal area to reach the next group of amazing dunes, to start again climbing, till we had the first and only situation, where @Ranjan Das car decided not to continue, and stopped. Waited for sometime trying to run the car, but failed. Decision made then to pull the car out, and could not refuse the offer of @Karthik Raptor to handle this challenge, and was really successful. Big thanks to Karthik for a big and appreciated valuable help. Another big thanks and appreciation for our marshal @Islam Solimanfor joint the drive and the support and guidance through out the drive and pulling out the car. @Imteeaz amazing SL, specially first time in this area, and second IM drive. Your leadership skills were put to the test today, for what should have been a relatively straightforward drive, it was anything but that! @Murad Hamed you handled the situation so well. All that matters is that you are ok. I know as the dust settles you will be extremely upset, but just remember your going home to your family! @Fabien Monleau your support was the best yet. 5 x pop outs fixed in double quick time. @Brette, there is a reason I look for your drives, today was a master class in staying calm….legend! @Benjamin, well done mate! @Rizwanm2 Thanks you for the pleasant drive that I enjoyed and found lovely today, during the beginning of the journey, the convey went through a bit of a difficult surface because of the rain, which caused the sand to settle. Specifically, the tail of the convey went through a muddy terrain, which was a new experience for me today. However, once we reached the solar park, the sand returned to its normal consistency, and the journey became significantly more enjoyable. @Gaurav Soni thanks for some added fun with extra side slopping, ridge ridding, at last, excellent tug to pull out from stuck, @Haitham Khattab driven well as SL. @Gregory as CF given clear instructions for recoveries,
