  2. A morning well spent, laid back relaxing drive...thanks to the senior riders @Ale Vallecchi , @Foxtrot Oscar, @Desert Dweller and @Niki for leading and guiding us through this easy terrain , with photo ops. The pleasant weather with light drizzle, and comfortable temperature, allowed me to roll down the windows without fear of letting in lot of flying sand. My 4th drive with Carnity and first drive with my wife and kids joining me...they absolutely loved the drive and vouches to come with me next time. Congrats to @Foxtrot Oscar for her promotion to Marshal level, and lucky to be on this "promotion" drive. looking forward and coming back for more!!

  5. Dear @luis mantecon, this is the minimum can be done in these cases, at least from humanitarian point of view, to help and give a hand to whom he require. However, being part of @Carnity (if I may speak on behave of @Carnity) , safety of members is top priority and most important. @Tamas Hoffmann and @Brette thank you very much for the drive and for allowing me to be the sweep and be part of the recovery team πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ Apologies, forgot to thank all members joined the driver today, every one done a good job. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

  8. It is an absolute privilege to have the possibility to join a club like this and participate in drives like the one we had this morning, the area was breathe taking and the track super funny. And what to say about@Tamas Hoffmannand @Bretteand @Hisham Masaad, you guys saved my life this morning, you are the best team someone can have in a situation like the one I have lived today. After 2 pop-outs caused by a damaged valve fixed in impressive record time, and the final failure of my clutch with your support simply out of the range to get out of there, I can say very loud we are in the best hands, we are having fun like children but always safe surrounded and covered by the best professionals and, which is even better, the best people. Thank you!!!! See you on the dunes !!!

  14. I had the pleasure of being part of @Foxtrot OscarAngela’s Newbie drive and hence Marshal promotion πŸ₯³. It was totally worth waking up at 4:30 am, although the very big Jeepers convoy at the gas station made me late despite the early start... It was a delightful drive, starting with rain and ending with some wildlife, giving us all the opportunity to take some cool pictures and videos. Being the sweep allowed me to watch all drivers and also take pictures of everyone (check the drive’s gallery). Thanks everyone for the relaxed drive and hope to see you guys and ladies soon!

  20. Please post the pictures. Baofangs have this problem I suppose. Its Chinese and cheap. The earphones should work and if it does, its sure the speaker problem. If you have the invoice you maybe able to replace them from the shop you bought them. Always better to carry 2 radios with you during the drives.

  22. Trip report: Cool weather with some rain was a perfect setting for your Absolute Newbie drive dear friends @Juan Carlos Elizalde Reyes, @Alfred Alinazar and @SP kALATH. We had a longer briefing after making sure all your recovery points checked, deflated and off we go. We drove lost of the part considering harder sand and a short convoy. We could make it to Richies bar and venture further into some tight dunes , when we had q stuck with @Juan Carlos Elizalde Reyeswho was recovered with some blip blip maneuvering and a tug by @Jeepie.Nice to see how you managed to do a manual crawl and a front and back pendulum movement to compact sand and come out of a soft patch under the able guidance of Carnity legend @Gaurav @Juan Carlos Elizalde Reyes good to see you complete your absolute newbie drive after few attempts. Great to see you have rectified all the issues with your car . Well done @Alfred Alinazar managed his Pajero well. You will get tons of information on the Pajero forum on Carnity related to your car ( ABS Kill, Transmission cooler, skid plates etc). @SP kALATH had some good experience before joining this mandatory drive for new members to the club. Very impressive how you have prepped your Prado and how well you drove. Good to know you have done the self declaration , and you will hear from us soon It was my first Absolute newbie drive with Carnity and was indeed a great experience. Spending more time checking cars , advising members at the start and making sure all was well at the start was quite a good learning. @Gaurav as my second lead corrected all my mistakes and you all were following his tracks as the defacto lead. Thank you for this and all the guidance along through the journey with this club. @Jeepies reassuring presence with great experience at the back even though with a short convoy was great and since thanks for supporting this drive. Some stats from the drive Please join the Whatsapp notification with Carnity to get regular updates on the drives planned Please have the mandatory gears required - Shovel, programmed Radio, Deflator, Compressor and a safety flag to join for the next drives. See you all soon, and best wishes for your journey further with Carnity!

  35. Hi @Zed I am happy to see that you learned the most important thing, If you feel that the car is not making it, simply skip! You'll learn, and you will have a lot of drives so if is not today, it will be tomorrow for sure don't worry about that. Hope to see you soon and see how are you getting better each new drive! Pop outs and stuck are an important part of the game. It's not a waste of time is a moment to learn how to manage such situations happy to see that you learned that already. See you soon on the sand again!
