  1. @Karthik Raptor @Prakash Anoop @Mus_hus78 @AlexM @Xavier Treasurer @ShereenMK and WL @Joseph Raju I have updated the meeting point. For those who have been a part of the earlier night drives at Sweihan you guys already know what to expect, and for those who would be driving in this terrain for the first time be ready for a fast paced roller coaster ride. Can't wait for Saturday night. See you boys in Sweihan.

  2. Thanks Frederic for taking the time. Indeed I have a 2020. I also installed the front and back skid plates. I blame @Brettefor that because he got me hooked into this sport after the absolute newbie drive, but I digress. The car is still under a 3-year warranty and I’m afraid lifting is not an option for now, hence the trimming option. I saw one design on the Carnity forum (attached second image) and I thought maybe some guys here went through some thought process for the trimming and I can repeat what they did, other than the brute force straight line :). I am aware the model is an older model with a different bumper style but maybe someone has an idea or an experience they can share and I can copy that Thanks for the initial feedback though!

  3. I have not seen your setup and dont know whether you already have some offroad lights. Offroad lights are helpful but not mandatory for a night drive as you are not leading. However, if this drive helps you get the permission from the Home Ministry to splurge some money on your car, then go ahead by all means. 😜

  4. Hi @Mike Merdinian The front bumper of the Pajeros has undergone some facelifts over the years, from what i can see your model is the 2020 version which would look like this: Most Pajero owners would usually trim everything below the red line to create a bit more clearance, but as a result the bumper becomes a bit more flimsy and will crack more easily. Adding a front bash plate will give a bit extra protection against that. If you would eventually decide to lift the vehicle, that perhaps you could keep the bumper as it is. The typical straight line cut is indeed what most owners would do i am afraid. Its easy and if the guy who trims it can just stay along the existing line without messing it up

  5. Hey @Mohamad Anwer buddy. System is now sorting the lists automatically as per rsvp timing but let's wait for some days. Should the WL remains as it is I think we can accommodate all after possible dropping outs or extend the convoy for 1-2 more... Keep it close

  8. Hi all, Thinking of trimming the bumpers based on multiple recommendations. Couldn’t find a topic that tackled this. Can anyone share any good design pictures of their trimmed Pajeros? I am trying to avoid the typical straight line cut. Thanks in advance!

  9. @Mike Merdinian if you don't want to cut your original bumper, get a second hand one from Sajja, cut and fix it and whenever you need to put the original back, you have it.

  10. Frederic's advice is 100% spot on mate. I put a lift kit in mine and left the bottom of the bumper as stock. Had no problems until I did lol... I nosed her into a pocket pretty hard and the tyre bit the inside of the bumper extensions, grabbed the inner fender liner (plastic) and ripped it out by it's roots! I ended up having it trimmed to those cute red lines anyway. Your experience may differ ha ha.

  41. @Hisham Masaad thank you for the fantastic drive today. It had everything, fast, exciting, excellent dunes to play on, superb climbs and steep declines. cant think of a better way to spend a Saturday morning. However, with all good things come with the not so good lol, so my baby Red Rubicon is at the doctors, having a new bumper put on as we amputated the original one during the drive, (it had already had a bash or two so we just finished what we had started). A big thank you to @Chris Wing for carrying it in your car for the entire drive until i could make space for it. Should have her back up and running on Monday, however, the noise coming from the front differential might take a bit longer the joys of off roading :):) we have the technology to fix her up as good as new for the next adventure (hopefully next weekend) in the sand pit cant wait as today was a blast. Thanks to the team for waiting whilst we severed the remaining tendons that was still holding the bumper on so i could continue the drive. @Waqas Parvez thanks for your support as SL and @Ranjan Das thanks for the excellent support as SW. @Vaibhav @Daniel Yang @Humayun Ghias @Amir Amiri @MMansoor you guys as always drove superbly. What a great team today which made the experience even more enjoyable you were all fantastic and great company.. Pics of the severed bumper in the gallery lol
