Hey, fellow off-road enthusiasts!😏 I wanted to share with you my project of enhancing my TLC 300. Over time, this vehicle has become an integral part of my lifestyle, and it was essential for me to prepare it for extreme off-road conditions while maintaining comfort and reliability for city drives. My journey towards improvement started with extensive searches for reliable and functional components. I explored various intriguing options by interacting with local manufacturers and off-road enthusiasts. Thanks to collaborative efforts, my vehicle has become even more geared towards adventures. My enhancements included the installation of: A robust front bumper that not only provides protection but also adds extra functionality. Engine skid plate for added safety when navigating challenging terrains. Reinforced steel side steps enhancing both protection and aesthetics. A powerful rear bumper that protects the rear while complementing the overall look. A spare wheel carrier, adding functionality and protection. Steel roof rack for my favorite adventure things. These improvements have made my Land Cruiser even more ready to tackle off-road challenges while preserving its style and comfort. It's crucial for me that my vehicle caters to all my needs, whether it's city commuting or exploring the most remote corners of nature. My Land Cruiser 300 has become not only a reliable partner but also a reflection of my lifestyle and love for adventures. What am I doing wrong here? Out of interest was looking at the specs from al futtaim for the new LC70 3 door. The HP is at 228 and weight at 2600kg.. giving it around mid-80s using Gaurav's formula below putting in well in the borderline performance category. Thats a lot heavier than my 5door pajero... can these figures they are publishing be right? I would have expected a lot better from a 4L v6 on a short body like that.

@PETELCZYC PAJERO - lukeis dreaming about getting LC70 now The only issue is see with them in stock version is that the rear axle is more narrow than the front axle, which makes it a bit tricky for off-roading on higher levels (more prone to roll over). On 2door this is especially a topic. From what i have seen most off-roaders solve this by changing the rims to a wider off-set in combination with spacers to have a nice wide footprint. Apart from that.... LOVELY and LEGENDARY offroader.

It's gross weight with a full fuel tank and 5 passengers. Kerb is around 1850-1900 kgs.

I was actually waiting for this drive @Frederic still not sure I can join committed something else already on the holidays but trying my best to join at last minute if possible. I'm sure this drive will be an amazing experience to everyone.

The car is the GR Sport version so was sold to me as more suited to off roading than the non GR LC 300 - Ground clearance 235mm, approach angle 32 degrees and rampover angle 21 degrees. Please share your vehicle details - Make, Model, Color, and Year. 2023 Landcruiser GR Sport, Grey in color Do you have any prior off-road experience? If yes, pls share details. I have participated in a dozen or so camping trips in the desert around Al Ain, Abu Dhbai in convey where we deflate tyres to 15 psi and head off into unmarked tracks in convoy; stopping and finding places to camp out of the wind which requires safely entering bowls and ensuring appropriate exit for the following day. Confirm your vehicle has front and rear tow hooks/eyelets. confirmed Advise if you don’t have a programable radio and safety flag. Have ordered a flag for delivery this week Haven't got a radio yet but understand i need to get one from Dragonmart? Can you let me know which one? Additionally, i will be bringing my family which includes 3 kids - 16/14/11 years plus the wife. Will that be a problem?
