  1. @Bishoy Ibrahimwelcome to Carnity.

First off, thank you for going through the website and confirming  that your vehicle meets the minimum requirements for this drive. Based on the list of gear provided by you, the only thing I can think off that you don't have is a shovel. However, you do not need one for this drive, going by the rsvp, we should have quite a few :)

As far as bring passengers is concerned, it is totally upto you. Just make sure you pay attention to the comms on the radio and are not distracted during the drive.  We do however recommend not bring children for safety reasons.

If you do have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

    See you in the sand.

  4. Welcome @Nathan Land glad to have you on board.  Have had quite a few drives with you and you have done extremely well from the very first one.  Like the others have said, the SWB Pajero is quite capable and you handle it really well too.

Welcome again and thanks for the additional help on the drives with the shovel and also when we had to remove the lower fascia on the lexus recently.

See you in the sand pit soon.

@Brette, I guess it’s going to be BFG for me then next. My luck with the Yoko Geos has not been great either.

With cuts on the bead lining, and a fully ruptured sidewall on two separate MY2021 tyres barely 12k kms in, I’m not the biggest fan of Yokos either but they are the best of what I can find.

Have also heard the kumho AT tires are good. The BF is good no doubt but extremely heavy and made more for rock climbing or overlanding.

Completely missed out on the Coopers. Good shout @Vaibhav!

Anybody here have experience on the AT3 XLT? I’ve seen a few around on drives.

@munkybizness if I were you go with the Geolander G015. The Coopers are good but the quality of the side walls is horrible. I use the AT3 4s and every 6 months, one side wall cuts. I have been through 7 tires in 2.5 years.  The XLT  I'm not sure about but I've heard they are very heavy and make a lot of road noise.
