    Lorenzo is back ! 😅

Thank you @Lorenzo Candelpergher @Luca Palanca Falsini @Yousef Alimadadi for the drive and support, really enjoyed every part of it, and made my best to follow you tracks and make it easy for the rest of the convoy. It was both inspiring and intimidating to have so many experienced drivers in the convoy. Thank you all for your patience whenever I had refusals or a flat tyre 😅

Apparently the tyre is okay. no more leakage but I am still driving on the spare. Will put it back today.
That flat tyre made me realize I need a better toolbox in my car and showed me again how nice and friendly of a community @Carnity is :)

    Nice video @PaoloMaraziti:))

Have a lovely week everyone !

Just some advice, same situation happened to me, I was driving in the desert and suddenly the tire went flat. I inflated and it was all ok. Fast forward 1 week again same issue. I then come to find out my rim was dented and when I was deleted air would slowly leak. Go get your rims checked. Since the tire is at 35psi there won’t be a leak because of the pressure, but at low psi’s if your rim is dented leaks will happen.
@Lorenzo Candelpergher remembers this situation 😂 it was an area 53 drive.

  2. Fantastic drive @Lorenzo Candelpergher I enjoyed it, I wouldn’t say a walk in the park for me, I felt I was being tested to see if I could Maneuver my car through all the sharp crests and in between all the tight dunes, and eventually I did get stuck 😂. I guess I’m too used to Area 53/Fayah/Fossil Rock where there is a lot of space for error. Other than that I enjoyed the drive, and the weather wasn’t actually that bad especially earlier in the morning, I noticed @Luca Palanca Falsini was driving with his windows down.
Great job everyone and see you all soon inshallah 💪🏽

Dear @Darren Brooke, I'm sorry to hear about your problems. I. Hope it will be sorted soon.

It is quite late but, given the abundance of support and the reduced number of participants, if @GauravSoni@Adhir Saxenaand @Chris Wingwould like to join, I'd be happy to extend the convoy. Let me know guys!

Looks like it’s turning into an Intermediate drive 😂😂

Spotify is surely good...you can find it all from Chamkila to Arif Lohar and what not...(if going crude so let's go the whole nine yards) 😂 I think Anghami is better for Arabic, limited on English and Indian music. @Shehab Alawadhi may be able to advice better on that though.

See Spotify has Arabic music, but you have to type the song name in English and the spelling is all over the place, so I just bought YouTube premium and made my life easier. I use Spotify for on road and normal days, and YouTube for off road since I can download the songs like Spotify.

Music knows no borders (or languages). It runs freely like the desert winds. Thanks for exposing us to these 🙏

I totally agree, i even have a metal playlist (a couple of those actually) , 2 throwback playlists (as in late 90s to early 2000s), and a hype playlist. I can share them if you like :)

  6. Wow, that’s a lot to take in. Spent maybe 20 minutes reading everything carefully.
First, AMAZING drive! I enjoyed it a bit too much, I think my passengers got sick due to my urge to try and climb as high and I can and keep up as much momentum going up, and perhaps the young 22 year old trying to show off to his friends, (yes I had 3 other people with me 😅).
Second, great driving everyone was very enjoyable, I loved climbing Al Faya from the back, kinda reminded me of area 53.
Finally, wish I could have continued but alas, didn’t want anyone puking in my car 😂.

I do have some comments of my own if I may be so bold to voice them. I’m sure everyone would appreciate them.
@varunmehndiratta I will commend you on finding a clean path when we sadly left @M.Seidam and @Ashok chaturvedi behind. @Dodi Syahdar was on my tail the whole time and I was driving very aggressively, great job I’m very impressed usually I’m the one stuck to @Dodi Syahdar tail, @Abu Muhammad I thought you got stuck a couple of time and to my surprised your beast and your skills in the desert paid off great job. @Francois Germishuys I saw you and your beast having a lot of fun in the back, especially with those new shocks you out in, hope the ride was smooth. Also let me know how they felt if they are worth it, or maybe If I should invest in the 2.5s. Also I have a couple of awesome pictures for you. I’ll post them when I get them (my passenger took them)
I couldn’t see much of what was going on in the front so I don’t have anything to say.

@varunmehndiratta I won’t leave anyone in the desert especially when nature calls, it would be kind of embarrassing to tell the story of how you got left behind in the desert while doing your business🤣🤣. Next time drive your car to the place you want to water the plants 🤣 instead of walking there the person behind you will wait for you, so will the convoy.

I’m not going to comment about what should have been done or what went wrong I thing everything was clearly stated by everyone. I’ll be positive and focus on the good things 😃

Overall amazing drive @Lorenzo Candelpergher I loved every moment, every time I drive with you the fun just gets more and more intense, (except for my first IM drive with you, where I almost wet myself from the sheer difficulty and excitement, that drive I will never forget that drive.)

Hi @Lorenzo Candelpergher I regret to inform I won't be able to attend the drive.  It was a route I was looking forward to explore.

I've removed myself from the RSVP list so the next in WL can confirm.

Have a great and safe drive everyone.

    Kindest regards.

Sad stuff 😟 I always love seeing the mighty VTC in the desert gliding on all the dunes.

    Dear Desertnauts.

Considering the drop-outs, based on the priority assigned to members looking for their first drive, at the moment I would like to sign up @Ashok chaturvedi and @Shehab Alawadhi, if they both confirm (please acknowledge).

There still are @Kalahari and @Ranjan Das in the WL. I'll get back to you by this evening.

    Thanks to all.

I confirm. See you there inshallah!

  10. Great drive @Lorenzo Candelpergher finally after my 3rd attempt at area 53 i finally completed a drive and I may be addicted to these dunes 😍. Great job everyone very well driven the only time we really were stopped for a while was when @Abu Muhammad got crested and when the convoy split up other than that everything was so smooth i could have went on for hours.

Thank you to everyone that supported @Hisham Masaad @Shaz Shah @Alexander Alcala @Javier Lucero awesome job!

See you all in the next area 53 drive 😂
