Dear desert wonderers, finally stress is over. The best is to abide by and stick to the standard practice, rules and regulations, which I am sure all will be happy to. As FB+ convoy, considering safety factor (most important), and trying to make sure we will have fun in Sha Allah, will keep the convoy to the max 13 cars. Below is our order for tomorrow drive. Radio channel will be 2, and my mobile is 0506318834. Please sleep well tonight, come fully relaxed, ready for the adventure, and a lot yalla push.@Marwan Haddad @Joseph Raju @Simon Dawood @Shaker @ASAD. @Rob S @Joji varghese @Warren Flay @Mohamad Anwer @Mark D @Tom B @Pacific

  2. Frederic's advice is 100% spot on mate. I put a lift kit in mine and left the bottom of the bumper as stock. Had no problems until I did lol... I nosed her into a pocket pretty hard and the tyre bit the inside of the bumper extensions, grabbed the inner fender liner (plastic) and ripped it out by it's roots! I ended up having it trimmed to those cute red lines anyway. Your experience may differ ha ha.

  3. Thanks @Shaaz Sha and support team for an interesting and very technical drive. It's always nice to drive somewhere new (to me anyway) and some of the tight uphill turns on churned up soft sand were challenging to say the least! The Gods of fortune were not with us today sending us a very generous dose of breakdowns and stucks/refusals which made for slow going. Still, we got safely to the end and with the temperature climbing past 38, exiting was definitely the right thing to do. Nice to meet new faces and especially nice to follow @Tom Bin the mighty Yamato. She shook the ground and made nice deep ruts for the little Gadgero to wallow in.

See you all again soon (if I can get on a drive lol)

  4. Thank you @Hisham Masaadand @Gauravfor going the extra mile to make sure we poor folk had a drive to attend this week. Fewbie Plus drives are hard to get on these days and this week was probably the hardest so I am grateful that you worked the system on our behalf.

Thanks to all who attended and made it a fun, fast day with lots of *fun political discussion and misunderstandings.

The drive included some lovely fast, flowing, fairly high speed stretches contrasted with some long waits for technical failures and a fair old helping of stucks, refusals and a very unlucky flat tyre.

All in all, lovely to be back in the F+ saddle and looking forward to more.

  5. @Kailas we should be nicknaming you 'The Michael Bay of Carnity' (every drive you plan seems to be an action thriller stacked with bad actors and a lame ending ha ha).

So, this weeks matinee drama was "Carnity on Faya" a long and twisting story about white sand and sweeping dunes punctuated by plenty of intermissions for stucks, refusals and pop outs. Great fun for all and all set in a beautiful backdrop with fine warm weather. It started well, got fast in the middle and then crashed to an ending best described as... interesting.

Nice to meet new people who I haven't driven with and you all acquitted yourselves brilliantly. Special mention to @Andrew McCarthyfor the laughs and the entertainment and to @Willie for driving the second best car in the event. BRRM BRRM!

  6. What a fun drive! Thanks to @Kailas for choosing to push the 'Newbie' drive to (ahem...) higher goals lol What a tug, stuck, pop out, refusal fest it was, I think I came out as tugmaster general for the day with 3? This course was certainly a challenge to newbies, let alone to newbies with giant cars. @Kaleem Ur Rahmandon't lose heart brother, you will gain confidence as you gain experience and it will even become fun, trust me on this one!

My elderly father in law had a hoot and was amazed at what we do for fun.

Thanks to @Looperand @Imteeazfor handling the mid and tail crises, I hope you had fun.

To the rest of the crew, great spirit guys, no matter how many times we stopped, there were no complaints and nothing but big beaming smiles from all.

Thank you all and I look forward to seeing you again soon.

  7. Thank you @M.Seidamfor a fun days driving. With able assistance from @marksand @Pacific and cool calm second lead @Gregory we shoveled and rumbled across the dunes with determination. I have to commend @Daniel Rodaswho was in front of me for his lines and his exhaust, I could always hear how much throttle was required for any particular obstacle😁

  8. Another rockin' drive from the guru of speed @Islam Soliman

A tight group, great spirit, lots of refusals, beached whales and more shovelling than a Brit Prime Minister trying to save his job.

@JeromeFJyou are the Tugmaster for sure. You pulled more guys off ridges today than I have ever seen before (maybe you should just leave the rope attached and wrap it around your bumper between tug jobs to save time?)

@Naveen Rajwho knew a 3.0 5 door could do what you made her do today? Awesome job bro

@munkybiznessyou made that big bird fly, its just the awkward landing that made a pop ;-) noise

If this drive wasn't the best drive EVER, it's only because next weeks could be even better...
