  3. @RiadJL @EbrahimZAF @Ahmed Farouk @Nicolò @Ishak @Wilfredo Perez @Gaurav Thank you for joining yesterday evening. We had a beautiful desert time enjoying the warm breeze at Iftar time, watching the moon playing with the clouds and kids playing in the dunes, and the short drive afterwards was a great way to continue the night. 6. Thanks @JeromeFJ for hosting the Iftar gathering and followed by an amazing night drive. I joined the night drive after a long gap and thoroughly enjoyed the sweep where I could enjoy seeing the light of all cars buzzing through the dune. Your binoculars were amazing to show the moon with such great details. Now I also need one. Everyone drove fantastically even at a few places where level was just above Newbie for certain tricky crossings or climbs.

  15. Don't worry @Pramod B, there are usually a couple of last-minute dropouts every weekend. I've been there before 😅 Also, if many are on the waitlist, the Carnity team usually opens a new drive or extends the convoy.

  24. Apologies for jumping to defense mode. Clearly though the screaming in the car was overpowering sometimes. 🤣 Appreciate your understanding. The previous club we belonged to wasn't such a safe drive with them sometimes and this is something that has been engrained in me now quite deeply.

  26. Hope everyone had a great weekend. It was an incredible coincidence that on 11 February when my wife's niece and nephew were here from Dublin, Ireland, we went to this exact same drive area ... and it rained. @Shaun J was there and can attest. Thanks @Marek for the great action pictures. Great to see you again @DP1011 and thanks for a great drive for the family here on this trip. Thanks for taking me for a spin around in your jeep @Benjamin. Always wondered what that would have felt like in the desert. I'm sure there's more to the taster I saw. Here is the feature film from our trip with sound effects from my passengers. Enjoy as much as I did. I'll share the raw footage video tomorrow. Remember to smash the Like button and Subscribe! Thank you.

Some of the best looking ridge riding attempts below: @Mahmut @Benjamin @Abhilash Kottakkal @Shiju Raju @Rohit Deginal @Emanuel @Shaun J I just realized I don't have a single "dramatic" picture of your car's crossing - that's how smooth you were with the throttle... And since I had to keep up after our lead, there was no time to catch him in the act. So I got this instead, @DP1011

  30. Good Day All, My spark plugs seem to have rusted and jammed in the sockets. Taken it to a garage and they say they are worried it will snap inside if they try to remove them. My question is: do you know of a garage that is good with dealing with this situation as delicately as possible so they can be removed in one piece? Toyota FJ cruiser 2013 Thanks Imran

  31. Has anyone installed their own subframe drop and UCA’s. any tips or tricks you might have, mainly concerned with the front subframe, I have the radiator and power steering drop brackets as well but I think I might have problems with the engine intake hose contacting the TJM snorkel ducting. Would anyone know who would stock a good selection on silicone hoses that I could replace the standard intake with? I think I won’t need to do a wheel alignment with the forward UCAs as there is nothing adjustable there but the rear control arms will definitely need it. Has anyone done their own rear wheel alignment on their paj? will be tackling this next weekend just trying to get everything ready thank you

  40. Hi @DP1011, I can assure you and all of my other team members that I would not ever intentionally turn-off my radio for YouTube video or otherwise. That is completely unlike me or any of my previous behavior and any radio turned down or off would have been unintentional and accidental or in one case on this drive I did hear you but it was too late to respond because I was going down that steep drop with both hands on the wheel. Certainly I will review this video and the raw footage one, below, for where you may have specifically referred to (time reference would be appreciated) and any other areas for improvement, for which I am always welcoming feedback to improve including this one.

  46. Subframe drop done 👍, took a day and a half to install but well worth it I think. Did a f+ drive with @Ale Vallecchi on Sunday to test and suspension seams to move a lot better with the new UCAs and trailing arms. Didn’t lift wheels anywhere as much as previously. bit of a full on job to install yourself in the Dubai summer 🥵 but thanks to @Bravoechofor your help. (Only had to get the angle grinder out for one old mount bolt 😂, and to modify the air filter housing) comparison photo to a standard SWB added
